Preseason Day 2 - Time For Teams

Wow - What a response.

The ball’s rolling and today’s video talks about teams.Dan Raine

Teams are a great way to enjoy the challenge and they enhance your chances of success.

With great technology like Skype (we will be showing you how to use this early in the week) you can have team members around the world and speak for free!

After you watch the video - stand by to get an email from Dan showing you to the new forum.
Here is the video

You can download the iPod/iPhone version here soon.

See you on the Forum!

Oh! The two sites I wanted you to get signed up on are

http://digg.com
http://www.stumbleupon.com

Ed

PS The photo to the right is Dan Raine making good on the Fifteen K challenge last year. Dan Raine is a Master Marketer and looks very fetching in a pink thong. Don’t worry Folks thats as risque as we are going to get in the Family Friendly 30 Day Challenge.

PPS It would be cruel to point out that there is a video on youtube (search for Dan Raine) of the whole event…

    Any taker?

  28. Help, wait up! - latecomer breathlessly catching up! Am I too late already? Busy here catching up with all the pre-season and looking for a team. Briefly my interests/experiences are:
Freelance writing (www.inspiredwritingresearch.com to find out in more detail)
    SEO article writing online
    Affiliate marketing from articles/websites/blog
    Education/teaching/English Literature
    Ireland
    Travel
    Parenting
Short Stories (BellaOnline short stories page editor)
Oh yes - and being a newbie at this!

Hope to find a team with a like-minded interest/goal to link up with.
    Thx

    (PS Great course so far!)

  29. Wolfram Arnold says:

    Hi Ed,

You sure look sexy on camera and that British accent is awesome. But do you really need us to watch a 5 minute video for information that could be conveyed in 2 paragraphs and/or bulleted lists that maybe take 20 seconds to read? Written information is random access… I can just to the key bits right away and skip back and forth. Audio and video streams are not.

    Here’s what I heard:
    * Work in teams. 4-5 is an ideal size
    * Get yourself signed up on digg and stumbleupon

That would take 5 seconds to read. A 98% savings.

Aren’t we all about efficiency, getting to the point fast, optimizing our use of time? I personally find that the glut of so-called instructional videos is going the wrong way, especially if it’s just a guy in front of a camera talking. Now there situation where video is useful, e.g. when you’re showing how to do certain things, etc. but I would guess that the majority of videos out there doesn’t qualify.

    My 2 cents,

    Wolf

  30. Carl says:

I second Wolf’s suggestion. Videos take a lot of time and, unless one takes lots of notes, one has to spend more time re-hearing the videos. If the information could be provided (or summarized) in textual form, it would serve as a reference to go back to, as needed.

  31. Jim says:

Where do I go to make contact with those looking for a team. I am looking for a team too.

  32. Robyn says:

Can I also make a request for text back up to the video? My DSL connection is dodgy and I have waited 8 min and counting for Ed’s next words via video. Am new to this, so don’t want to miss a word!

  33. Cee says:

Hi just wanted to report that the video stops streaming after about 1-2 mins of Ed speaking. Are there technical difficulties. Hope it gets fixed soon don’t want to miss out on the information. Thanks in advance! :)

  34. Karen Belyan says:

I am looking for a team. Won’t be available until August 11, but hope to learn fast. Anyone interested in letting me join their team as a late-comer?

  35. Mary says:

Just finding out about the 30DC. Anyone looking for a team member from the United States?

  36. Debbie says:

    Mary and Karen,
I’m just joining. I’m looking for a team. Are you still looking for people?

  37. Grant Wilson says:

    Hi Ed,

I can see your vision with this 30 day challenge.

I hope that once you team up with a group of 4
or 5 people that is going to help everyone in that
    team to strive ahead?

I have been researching all different kinds of ways to
Market online. I must admit the biggest niche that all
Marketers are joining are social Networks because they are
targeted for Marketers and people who loves helping
    people.

I will join dig and stumbleupon very soon after viewing
    the forum.

I would have completed 2 Pre Season training days in
    a few mins.

    Have an inspiring day

    Grant Wilson

  38. Jesse says:

Sounds like you got a cold there, bro’ - toss back a shot of vinegar or some pickle jar juice… it’ll sweat the cold right outta ya! Whiskey or rum’d do it too, but with the first suggestionjs you don’t get dizzy :P lol

Oh, right - this sounds like it’s gonna be FUN!!!!

    hehe

    Laters!

    - Jesse ^_~
