Thanx for another great lesson from you!

The only thing I need to mention: the Go2Web20.net image link isn’t working.

    Check it, pls.

I’m assuming you’re in the US - heck it’s 12:37 am and I’m going to bed.

The video just came on in itunes, can’t wait to see it in the morning!

Yeah - the link is .com - it should be .net - but the site is down or something on their end right now…

    Dearly Beloved Ed:

My one and only question will be, is it possible in the nearest and foreseeable future to have one service fits all for the web 2.0 world?

Meaning, a situation where you will register on one service and you will be on everything by default?

And please, hope you will still continue to teach us because I did not mean in any way, shape or form to reveal your secret weapons at all… :-)

Thank you for your consistent understanding, wisdom and knowledge.

    Remain blessed and a blessing.

    Regards,
    Olakunle Solomon Fatoye.

Olakunle - for single login at lots of sites have a look at OpenID - openid.net

“For individuals, OpenID means the elimination of multiple user names and passwords and a smoother, more secure, online experience. For businesses, this means a lower cost of password or account management, the opportunity for easier and higher numbers of new user registrations and the elimination of missed transactions because of user frustration with lost and forgotten passwords. OpenID allows for innovation in the authentication space beyond just using a password to “unlock” your OpenID identity, but the ability to strongly protect your OpenID and have that benefit move with you everywhere you go online.”

  7. Oleg Korneitchouk Says:

They have made paid programs that register you for the social bookmarking site and post a link. This is like spammer heaven since they can open unlimited accounts within seconds.

  8. Sarah-Ann McLeod Says:

Please change your link from Go2Web20.com to http://www.go2web20.net and your link will work.

I had no idea there were so many social places, and I gess people will have to target their “phrase” to suit which ever site they use.

Thanks Ed for opening my eyes to all this stuff.

    Hi Ed!

It seems no one has noticed but the link on the site which you have mentioned
for web 2.0 directory is wrong

Its pointing to http://www.go2web20.com which is wrong

    The CORRECT site is http://www.go2web20.net/

Please make the necessary change on the following page

    Dearly Beloved Andy and Oleg:

Thank you so much for those explanations.

It becomes clearer to me now the pros and cons of the one world, one user ID option.

    Remain blessed and a blessing.

    Regards,
    Olakunle Solomon Fatoye.
