Want Dan and I to Fly you to Australia for the next Immediate Edge Bootcamp….

Then Read On…

Check these results in this years thirty day challenge.

Challenger John Vanderbeck decided he was not getting anywhere with his first two niche choices so he decided to chuck it all in andstart again…

Two hours later he had made his first 10 bucks creating a new 30dcspeed record.

That’s very cool.

Even cooler - The most amount of money made in a challengerecord has been broken!

Herb, Nick and Ash Hayek have made $745 so far this year.

Great Stuff!

But there is another record broken and you are responsible.

The Thirty Day Challenge is officially the largest Internet Marketing event of all time. Dan and I thought this year would be big but this…

It has meant we have had to do a lot of thinking about howwe move forward from here.

Make sure you head over to the Thirty Day Challenge Blog - 9am Monday (US Eastern)

On Monday we will break some new ground (something we have been doing quiet a bit) with the thirty day challenge - make sure you drop by the blog.

We really hope your enjoying the challenge.

Dan and Ed

PS Lets make this Interesting - Starting right now - anyone who starts from scratch and makes their first dollar by next Monday 9am eastern US time - Goes into a draw to be flown to Australia for the Next Immediate Edge bootcamp. All Thirty Day Challenge Rules Apply and you will need to provide all the details (so don’t even think of pulling anything!)

PPS We know this is possible = eight of the winners so far made their sale inside two days - are you up for a CRAZY weekend!

NEWS FLASH - Everyone who takes the challenge within the challenge and makes a sale will get a month on the Immediate Edge Free! How’s them apples!

That’s a hell of an incentive to start over and get my backside into gear. I’ve followed the TDC process but Tumblr seems like a dead fish, so count me in too.

  6. Frans Van Wyk Says:

    Count me in.

Tumblr is still getting my traffic instead of my Blogger Blog. Google is dumping my Blogger site rankings, but persists to rank the dumped tumblr blog at #5.

I’m starting now 10:10 (Eastern time) on 24/08.

    Wish me luck.

    Frans

  7. Bob Perrault Says:

Hi Ed … that sounds like an awesome plan … I’d love to re-visit OZ.

Besides, I’ve run through umpteen niches and figured I’d have one heck of a busy weekend … just to get all caught up.

Great news though, I think I found her, hiding down by the lake, so to speak.

Just let me know what I need to pack … see you down under mate.

  8. Indra Dosanjh Says:

I’d like to throw myself in…however, I just got on board on the 30dc like 3 days ago and I am on Day 3 of the material. Count me in and I’ll see what I can do!

PS I am looking for the preseason stuff so I can download the tools.

  17. Scott Lyons Says:

After today’s podcast explaining that the traffic figures were for a #1 ranking (I thought it was for first page or top 10), I’m realizing what a weak dud of a niche I went for, so I’m up for this.

Ed and Dan you are the coolest.

    Scott

  18. Josh Bozarth Says:

Hey what about a new AppleMac as a second prize some of us are having to cope with those crappy 5 yr old machines you talked about in one of your vids LOL!

  34. Dianne Fratscher Says:

I’m in too… I musta missed something somewhere.. tumblr didn’t tumble me (but I started it a day after everyone else lol), but it still doesn’t seem to be doing much. So, the race begins again!

  35. Dan C. Says:

    “My Hat is the Ring”

  41. ron bednark Says:

Should be “My Hat is in the Ring”

  42. John Miller Says:

First thing this morning, 5:30am, I am back working at my computer after just heading to bed from it at 2am. Most of the day, yesterday, I had been attempting to access the training video to “press on” with the challenge. (seems Quicktime needed a plugin to playit and Quicktime didn’t have the plugin??). Finally, after searching throughout the day on forum and blog I find Nick’s post in the forum about a player that supposedly play’s it and he supplied the link. Off to the site and go, find the download for the player and (no not happy ending), holy crap, I get crashes, freezes……..the spiral continued the rest of the day. You see, I’m “making due” with the computer as I have it, being the struggling internet marketing artist that I am. Pentium III 932 mhz slim desktop that I have been pushing past it’s limits for months now, you really should see this pile of electronics that I have been working with…what a soldier it is (should get a picture of it for a before and after).

Well, I am just thrilled that I was introduced to TDC by Tamar Goldstein. The TDC is fixing this struggling internet marketing artist and bringing me in from left field (to use a baseball venacular), out deep in left field mind you, where I have been busy with my bat in hand attempting to hit the ball pitched at home plate, how lame is this? Sorry, didn’t realize that’s where I was. Just to name a couple of things that the TDC has done for me: I am certain now that my next computer will be a Mac, thanks Ed. And I was never happy with FireFox browser until this challenge, a special thanks to Mandy Koch and her FireFox tips video see:http://infoprofitsavvy.com/videos/FireFoxTips/FireFoxTips.html …. awsome and oh so helpful. Oh, as Ed often says “I digress,” …that seems to be my days though… can you tell?

I’m back now. I have just gotten the “good news” from the TDC Forum that the day 23 video is posted in training in You Tube format……..hallaleuh, I can finally watch yesterday’s training. Oh, what did happen for me yesterday that was “hugh” (for me anyway) is “the lessons that Ed, Dan and company have been attempting to teach me about the concept FINALLY clicked for me.” At least, I got a serious “aha” moment and I’m sure that I finally “get it.” (results will tell) And to add glory on glory I’m sitting here reading the TDC Blog post for day 24……OMG, a challenge! And I have this new found insight! AND enough of the tools together to limp along (really I should take a picture of my computer/s, you would laugh your head off) rather well though considering……. MAC HERE I COME!

I have found a new phrase, same niche though, that I am even happier with than the ones I have been working with and the stats are better too [competing pages 13100 & daily searches ~205] OK!

So I’m off to the challenge within the challenge races - will crank it up, apply what I’ve learned to date and post the results.

    GO TDC!!!!!!!!!

  46. Suzie Cheel Says:

    Hi Ed, must be synchronicity:)
What a surprise to read this just now, I decided yesterday after reading John had made a sale in 2 hours that this weekend I would get a new niche as my other 2 don’t seem to be going anywhere, amd make a sale by Monday.

  47. Rod Logan Says:

But wait, I just started Day 15, I don’t know if this counts as “from scratch”…

Ed when you say “from scratch” do you mean start exactly from Day 1 or just researching, making, marketing “from scratch”???

  48. Ruth Ritchie Says:

Count me in too. Starting over as of 3:06 p.m. after a productive trip to the mall!

  49. Melissa Lander Says:

Me and my husband are doing the challenge together, he is starting a new one today and so am I!

  50. Niecy L Says:

    I am in, also.

  54. Glen Wicker Says:

Ok — So I haven’t made a dime! Heck, I start over everyday. Lame or no game — some traffic but no real fish caught. So off I go — one more niche I found last night in the wee hours of the morning to see the fish BITING … I’M IN!

  55. Kathie Holmes Says:

Having started again 6 times and still getting nowhere I’M IN FOR THE NEW CHALLENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  56. Carla Lendor Says:

Well I just registered my blog yesterday…had to delete the one that I had done 2 days before and start again so I am really no where.

I love a ‘challenge’. Even though I doubt I’d ever have the time to visit australia. (though I’d LOVE to) I’m going to give it a shot!

  62. gsdone Says:

Yeah, I think I’m in, too…started from the beginning, but took a me a while to actually “get it”…now that I do, I guess I have as good a shot as anybody from this point forward…cheers! :-)

  63. Sarah-Ann McLeod Says:

What a great challenge, It seems like everyone is in the same boat, needing to start new niche phrases, or wanting to come to Australia. I have a new niche I was saving, but now seems the time to use it.

I’m in too, then I can get a free ride from Tasmania to the Mainland (thats that place all the rest of the world call Australia).

  64. jesse schwarz Says:

Cranking it up again. 6:03 PM CST. Looking forward to it.

  65. gsdone Says:

Btw, I wanted to ask a question or two…

I’ve been using wordpress and blogger for my content pages, but I put different content on the two pages (altered to avoid content duplication). Now, one page is doing signficantly better than the other (although nothing to really brag about) in terms of hits, so I’m wondering if it would be worth my while to duplicate the content that is doing better. Furthermore, what if I did it not only for the two pages, but many more like, say, all of the content pages sites (ie. tumblr, etc), would that help me or hurt me? I’m thinking it would hurt more than help over the long term, but what about the short term?

Looking forwards to your thoughts and comments…cheers! :-)

  66. I finally am caught up on the teaching… | Home With Heather Says:

[...] I basically have to start almost from scratch. As far back as picking out the “umbrella phrases” (from Day 6) . What’s cool about that is many of the other challengers are starting over this weekend too. And Ed and Dan have issued a mini-challenge that if start today, following the rules of the challenge, we have made our ten bucks by Monday they are going to sweeten the pot with an Excellent Incentive. [...]

  67. Patty Gaynor Says:

It’s my B-day, I too am starting over

  68. Theresa Nielsen Says:

Count me in also. Neat, someday I will make it out to Australia, regardless if I win or not. What will I do in Australia besides thinking about stuff I have learned? Swim at the beach, check out the cute guys, clear my head for some new business ideas, check out the guys again, swim at the beach again and again, lay out in the sun, read the business journal (made this one up), maybe review web 2.0, then lay out again feeling the breeze and sipping on a frozen drink. Thats what I will do in Australia.

  69. Rose Giffen Says:

Count me in, too. I need to restart , and I’ve always wanted to go to Australia!

  70. Modesty Says:

Pity about the diet. God bless the person who invented the vcr! Is now 12.53pm Saturday in West Aust so I’m off and running :)

  78. John Miley Says:

    Hi Ed, Dan and Crew,

My niches are sucking air, with latest traffic stats at a rock solid zero.
I am starting over in a new niche, and with my new ninja skills, should be counting my ten dollars soon.
(I always wanted to watch the water spin counter-clockwise down the drain, so Australia would sure fit the bill).

    Time to niche mine….adios.

  79. Mike Mindel Says:

For those disillusioned with their niches, please make sure you read my post - The Niche Factory.

The Niche Factory is a helpful article and it got missed when I announced the GTrends tool. I also wrote this article on August 11th (13 days ago) specifically for those people who had to start again. So I must be psychic… ;-)

  92. Brenda Chambliss Says:

    Hello All,
This 30 day challenge has given me a method to the “internet marketing madness” and that is priceless. I took the weekend challenge on Friday using the Ebay copywriting tip Ed gave. I wrote a true story about a pair of shoes I purchased (even though they did not fit) just because I liked them and how I kept them in my closet for a while until I was able to let them go. (LOL)

“Now I wanted the real Cinderella that wore a size 7-1/2 to claim her “new shoes” and guess what they sold in 24 hours! By the way, I never joined a group but I’m still on the team. Thanks Ed and Dan.

    Cheers to you!

I’ve been scribbling out stories since Friday morning when I watched the Challenge Within the Challenge video. Had a few work-related obligations to meet over the weekend (my fun part-time music job, not the “gotta have it to pay the bills” job.) Can’t stop now! I’m in as well. Thanks guys!
