    Hi ED,

I think that you have made the right decision with the “secret sauce”.

The blame is squarely on the shoulders of the few that caused the problems …. ‘*#!*%~s

Great news with the 12 months of 30 day challenges.

  2. Allison Reynolds Says:

wow…there are some nasty buggers out there. I had no idea there was that sort of stuff happening in the background. It saddens me (and I had that awful guilty feeling even when I had not done anything wrong) that some people would be shits to us beginners who are really only mums and dads who are looking for an alternative to back breaking work.

Keep on keeping on Ed and f*&^ the rest of them.

  3. nicky glover Says:

Power to you Ed - you’ve flipped a potential disaster into an exciting ongoing adventure!
Really love ur teaching style too - oh and that mid way music sample is hilarious.
Learning heaps and diggin the process
    thankyou thankyou thankyou

I’m in ED, love the idea,
this is the best program i have ever been involved with.
I’ve spent hundreds trying to learn how to make money online as i’m sure many other people have,
and i’ve learnt more in this month than i have with all the shit that i’ve bought.
Heres to you and the team
    Cheers
    wayne.
ps:Do you really like men in pink thongs?.

  5. Jocelyn Says:

Just when I am about to miss you all :)

Thanks Ed for this great idea and for being positively selfless (Ed et.al) to continue shining your “guiding light” to us newbies who want to learn more about this business.

I particularly would like to thank you for deciding to maintain the 30DC forum as a “safe place” for us to learn. I know that it’s a dog eat dog world in this business so you just don’t know how we appreciate all these goodwill.
    MABUHAY!

ps: Really lucky to have stumbled on you at the right time.

  6. Maris Kalnins Says:

    Hello Ed,

fantastic message! i totally agree with you about the “special sauce” it needs to stay in-house and not to be revealed for the masses, otherwise it will simply lose its power and there will not be any good of it anyway!

i am also very glad to hear that 30dc will continue its life and your vision of it’s future also sounds very, very good! Thanks for that as well :)

What I would like to suggest is that… if you take a closer look on people who really followed all the rules and did everything as taught here - you will probably notice that they can be grouped into 2 groups:
    1) those who ranked well (let’s say they are in TOP30);
    2) those who did not rank well (somewhere struggling with positions which are not good at all)

Somehow I do believe that these two groups differ only by some kind of “luck” which is beyond these things that were taught here. Probably there is a bit more to cover.. and some nuances are still not clear for the most majority.

For example - I did 5 niches, experimenting with different blog platforms, wrote quality articles, followed all the rules, but somehow was not able to climb higher than #44 (other positions are #68, #130, #155, #89). Every rule was followed and still - there is something that keeps me away from ranking higher! I don’t know what it is.. i can just make a guess - whether it is keyword density which needs to be taken into account.. or other factors I cannot imagine?

Doing niches many times and getting approximately the same results (which is being far away from good rankings) leads me to thinking that I am doing something constantly wrong which is beyond the things that have been taught. Doublechecked all the steps accordingly to what had been taught, everything is fine. So .. the question would be.. where to find the answer and how to proceed from here? How to get out of this “ranking below #44″?

I suppose that there are many of us who for some reason cannot make higher! What would be your response to them?.. should we just try another, another and another.. and get the same and same and same results?.. or you as a teacher could think.. what this group of people could possibly be doing wrong and try to cover some more details of the process.. maybe in some more deep level? I really don’t know!

What do you think about this!? Would it be any help if I write the exact steps of the whole process I am doing and you could point out where is something wrong?!

    Thank you!

  7. Daiyaan Ghani Says:

    WOOHOO! Forever day challenge!

  8. Daiyaan Ghani Says:

Shame about the secret sauce, was really looking forward to that as ranking is my limiting factor, (Darn spammers), if they will reveal the secret sauce in immediate edge or search engine trust, let me signup. Now that my accent has changed to an aussie one, i can’t possibly become any more australian by listening to Ed forever, thank you Ed for continuing your wise teachings and guruness.

  9. Sally Stilwell Says:

So, we should explore options we find with the challenge for traffic, blogs, and the process to do it all. We may find another winner in that search. We can be searching from optional sites, while we search and learn the process. Ed and Dan and all the challengers give us the initial start, we choose what are our favorites and make suggestions. We live all over the world in this challenge and have some great incites to each area of the world. This can interest all. But most of all, be upright with everyone.
    Sally

  10. Margarita Korovina Says:

I am not a religious person at all. But all I can say: God bless you and yours, Ed and all 30DC Team! And I mean it.

  11. Mary Butler Says:

Big hugs and thank you to aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the team. This is fantastic news that it is to continue. You deserve a gong for this when John Howard is handing out the next lot!

  12. Bryan Trevor Says:

Don’t let the terrorists rule the world ED.
If you build your world based upon the responses of the few, the many don’t get to share the beauty. Don’t let the terrorists win.

If the secret source is good just share it I would say. if you make it selective then one of the terrorists will still be able to get hold of it and then they will (ab)use it anyway and probably disclose it.

If your original intention was to share it in the 30 DC, then it is obvious that the original intention was good, strong and right. Don’t let the terrorists control you and all the hard you guys have been putting in to development.

give them the power to control you, they will continue to dictate the rules of the game.
your always going to get some collateral damage its just the way the world works right now.
If people like you and the team stick to your principles and ( Distribute the sauce as intended) then the terrorists get weaker and those with their values in the right place win and get stronger.
So expect some collateral damage and do it anyway.

    Namaste

  13. Caroline Middlebrook Says:

    Hi Ed,

I am really over the moon with your decision as this is something I want to continue with but I’m sure I would have felt a little lost come September if it had just stopped. So this is really great news. Thanks a lot to all of you for giving us this great opportunity.

    Caroline M.

  14. malcolm ross Says:

    Ed,Dan and the crew,

Looks like some hard decisions had to made over the weekend.

I have learn’t so much and its looks like may others have too.

For a few total scum bags to ……

To carry on after August, will be just great.

Many thanks for all you efforts, late nights and long hours it must have taken to put the 30DC together this year.

    Malcolm.

  15. Michael Barrett Says:

    Hi Ed,

We met at Stomper in Atlanta in June.

It amazes me how the power of intention has so much impact. A little negative goes such a long way.

We have been forced to deal with a number of unethical people in our business life over the last year and you never really know who you are actually dealing with until the %#i& hits the fan.

One of the biggest surprises for us to understand has been the fact that we never anticipate fraud and deception because we’re not wired that way. We have found ourselves innocently walking into the buzz saw on more than one occasion.

It is such a violation and in that sense, I would like to extend our collective apologies for the behavior of the miscreants who created such an abuse in the name of the 30 DC.

May they spend a couple of hundred years in digital purgatory, having their results deleted at the end of each pay period, just prior to getting their first check.

From all of us who care, you guys are the best. And even though I’m still a bit baffled by all of this web 2.0 stuff, thanks.

You and your team have made a magnificent contribution.

    Best from Atlanta

  16. David Cross Says:

Ed I don’t know what the podcast said, I’ll listen on the train tomorrow. I can tell you I really want this to continue! I am trapped working long hours in the corporate world and want to escape - Love your theme tune!

There are loads of us trapped in the Dilbert Cube who want out. We only want to do good business and render a service that makes sense for real people like us. Not interested in get rich quick or tricks - we’re the people Google wants to stay around - at the end of the day it’s all just about rendering a service and doing good, sound business - back to old fashioned values almost!

I have almost no time and am madly trying to download everything in case it all dissapears before I can action it all. Your 30 days will take me at least 90 - and that’s only if I sacrifice time with my family (so I can get time with my family).

I really, really hope I get to continue and see it through - been dabbling/watching for about 10 years - yours is the best idea i’ve seen so far! Everyone else just wants to sell me more and more stuff - doesn’t help!

  17. Nick Johnson Says:

    Dear Ping Thong Band,

The 30DC is a true case of chaos theory - a buttery fly flapping its wings in Melbourne creating a tidal wave on the web….

Unfortunately in life there are always going to be ar..h..les who are scum determined to make money dishonestly. I have spent shedloads on the internet marketing and this course is the bee’s knees… It works and is a true white hat way of working.

Some of the basic techniques like how to use Bloglines are mind blowing. It is a case of teaching us how to build the proper foundations and putting the building on top of them. Once you understand the basics it doesn’t make any difference if you are building a one room hut or a two floor 10 bedroom mansion. However if you want a skyscraper the basics apply but you might want to employ some engineers and architects aka more advanced Internet marketing tuition.

I look forward to the ongoing forums and learning how to do the job properly and ethically.

  18. Darko Artifikovski Says:

Ed, you should be a high school or college teacher…really

  19. Joyce van den Berg Says:

    Ed AND ALL INVOLVED,

You made me cry!! :) With joy of course!

Thank you (TO ALL INVOLVED) for your patience in dealing with all the negatives and turning it around into an even more amazing continued successful venture that this promises to become.

Did you ever think 1 years ago that you would be making history? That is so exciting!

I look forward to continue being a part of this extraordinary community.
I’d love to volunteer to help out if you need it! :)

    XOXO

    Joyce

  20. David Phillips Says:

    Ed,
Totally understand your position. I have learned so much from you and Dan over
the past few weeks and I look forward to continuing. I have achieved some ranking
success with what you teach, but no money yet. I will be continuing what I learned
from this point forward. I am glad you are going to keep the TDC going and I will be
following along to keep learning while I am working. From a person who has struggled
to learn this business you have my heartfelt thanks.

    David

  21. Dave Robbie Says:

Thanks Ed, Dan, Rob and the team. Even though the 30DC will be over soon, I am one of the ones that started late and just had a tough time keeping up. I did not want to rush and just throw something up there. One of Mike Mindel’s article themes that stuck with me was “take it slow..”. I have had lots of ideas start flowing into my head, but they will take more time and research to make good content. I also realize that it is important to take action and not sit on the sideline too long. Sitting out in dreamland won’t be good either.

I am really glad you are going to keep everything going even after the official challenge is over. Great stuff! I have learned a ton in the past week. Aside from IM, the Web 2.0 revolution is quite an incredible thing to learn about.

I started on August 17, so my own 30DC is to complete by September 17. I hope others will continue to stay with the groups and forums too.

  22. Karen Kramer Says:

    Boo Hoo and Yippee!

Boo Hoo, I was really really looking forward to the secret sauce, but I’m not surprised by your decision. It was really the only thing you could do, considering the Spammers. Hopefully, somewhere in the future, You’ll be able to reveal the sauce.

Yippee! I love the idea about a year round challenge. I’m over the moon for the forums.

    Blessings
    Karen

Remember…If you never quit, you never Fail!!!

  23. Suzanne OGorman Says:

Let’s face it Ed, you ROCK!

This has been an amazing experience for all of us. We’re all learning huge amounts. I never thought that any of this was really possible. I just jumped in planning to learn and yesterday I ended up ranked #1 out of 25,700! I just wrote my blog and social bookmarked. My team hasn’t even started giving it the “Ed Dale Treatment”!

I’m really sorry that the sleaze bags are making it rough for you and everyone working their challenge. Bottom feeders are always out there, unfortunately. But I wanted you to know that you and the 30DC crew are appreciated and have already done an amazing job. What you teach works.

  24. Don Ettore Says:

Thanks for offering to keep the challenge going. This approach lends itself well to a longer term view, kind of like crock pot cooking. Everything doesn’t need to be fast food.

Having the support of the others in the forum and not losing that institutional knowledge will be a big plus.

Keep going with your approach. I love your style and unassuming nature.

  25. Michelle Harmon Says:

Thanks for keeping the Challenge going. I was really beginning to freak out before the “station break”.

I want to start a new business (not IM related) and have been using the TDC to learn about how I can market myself online. Then I got caught up in the competition aspect of it and started doing some other niches.

I am disappointed about not learning the ’secret sauce’ however I tip my hat to you all for your integrity.

I still want the sauce though.

I’ve checked out stompernet and immediate edge cuz I’m really want to succeed. I know they are worth the price however I really can’t afford them. How about some mini versions with a smaller price tag?

  26. Dan Reinhold Says:

Was there supposed to be videos too?!?

  27. Dan Reinhold Says:

    Oops.

    They just popped up.

I’m glad you’re keeping this going - I came in at the middle and haven’t caught up!!

“I am not a religious person at all. But all I can say: God bless you and yours, Ed and all 30DC Team! And I mean it.”

Well, I am religious and I mean it, too LOL. So, y’all are getting it from both ends. LOL :P That should do ya. ;)

Great little podcast might I add…and I , too, adored the little interim music (great choice), too cute…I loved the “we’ll talk about that other side of the break” :P

Well, so far all sounds good, my friend, all sounds good.

I also like how the forums are action based (almost as a “we” atmosphere…not a “me”) and not filled with blabbery junk and insincere ‘i could care less about you, it’s each man for himself” self-promotion. I am glad you mentioned that because I have noticed that, too, and I am sure many many have.

Are you sure you got the approval of Julie to keep the TDC going…more work?…LOL…

    Cheers!

  29. Ellen Golledge Says:

Great stuff, Ed, Dan and the rest of the ‘boys in the band’. Totally get why you had to make the decision you did about the Special Sauce…too bad…though..always a couple of rotten apples to spoil things for everyone else…

Maybe if and when you make it available, either via the 30DC or for sale, people should have to ‘prove’ to you what they are doing, by showing you their content and where they have published on the 2.0 sites…just a thought.

LOVE the idea of continuing…what a gift you are giving all of us…

    Thanx for all you do..
    Cheers,
    Ellen

  30. Susan Ripley Says:

    Ed,
This has been a great experience. I’m really happy that it’s going to continue.

I am one of those people that need some more time:)

You’ve done a fantastic job, along with the rest of the crew.

Of course I’m disappointed about the “secret sauce” not being released, but I understand.

It always blows my mind that people do this sort of crap. Get a life people!!!!! A good life, a nice life, a life where you actually contribute something to society. I mean really, why on earth would you want to be labeled as scum or internet terrorist? Does this make your mother proud? Can you walk with your head held high? Is this something that you’d want your children to know? Learn to play nicely with others. You’ll feel much better about yourselves.

    Thanks Ed for everything.

  31. jim sainsbury Says:

    Ed,

Big sigh of relief for me. I joined two teams and both fell out of the TDC. I am not techy at all and hoped by reading the posts I could pull it off. NOT..

Well I am catching up…slowly. But now I know I can try to find another team that is action oriented to make my first $10 thanks to you for keeping this going.

I just can’t thank you enough.

    THANKYOU!!!
    JIM

  32. Mike Mindel Says:

    Great podcast Ed.

    -Mike

  33. Noeline Cairns Says:

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

What can I say!! You guys are truly the greatest!!! I have been stressing big time about getting all this information before “D” day and losing access to all this valuable information. I have come up against a brick wall with the market research and are having to go back and review all the previous information and thinking but I am so far behind, but I want to do this properly and not just throw something up for the sake of it. I want to build a solid foundation from the ground up and with the great information you have all provided, I am able to do this.

I paid thousands to a top internet marketer for his course (the content was great) but still missing details and although he said he would support us through the forum, seldom did he appear and from postings never answered emails. Consequently, the forum is a very negative place and one I do not visit that often because of this. I am sure that thousands of us on this challenge have experienced this in one way or another.

You say that you hear “this is nothing more than spam” with not releasing the secret sauce, but my friends, you are sadly mistaken and this is far from the truth. I fully understand your reasonings for not releasing it and it should only be provided to those who have proven themselves ethical and worthy. Maybe, as a previous post has mentioned, you can police the blogs and then make your decision. But once again, this requires a lot more work on your end and you have all given of yourselves so much.

You guys have provided excellent, detailed, easy to follow information and if anyone does not make their first $10.00 its through their lack of action. The forum is a great community, everybody willing to help each other. I am so pleased you are continuing on with this. You have enriched everyones lives with your knowledge and insight into internet marketing and for that you will blessed 10 fold ++++

For most of us I believe, it is not about making six to seven figures (theres no denying that it would be nice) but about making enough income to replace what we earn from the chains of the 9-5 job and spending quality time with our families (extremely important in this day and age). I knew from the onset that I would not even come close to competing in the 30 Day Challenge, but my competition was with myself and that was and still is, to stay focused, follow the process and collect my first $10.00. The knowledge I have gained along the way has been truly awesome and that I can use over and over. You have made my day when you announced you were going to continue. I will be forever in your debt.

I was sadden to hear what you have all had to put up with in the background which has tarnished your experience of this momentous occasion, but for me and the 99.9% we hold you all in such high esteem and marketers that we can truly trust and admire. (there is always the well poisoners)

Once again a GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU!! this also includes the thousands of you on the challenge.

  34. Melinda Barton Says:

    Hi Guys,
You are the “best” I knew I was surrounded by the be all and end all of ALL GURUS and you have shared and provided such valuable information to the thirty day challengers .Topped the internet marketing world and broken history. What credentials you have under your belts.

Don’t change and keep doing what you love and if I was a spammer listening to your cast I would be sweating with guilt but hey who cares about the rotten apples anyway!

Have loved every day and will have to purchase some eye drops (blood shot eyes from late nights LOL) and invent a comfortable pillow for the desk — hearing that the challenge will keep on going..haha

Can’t think of missing out on some of that “SPECIAL SAUCE”

  35. Mike Mindel Says:

Ed’s Day 27 podcast summary now available. With pictures too!

    -Mike

  36. Olivia Romero Says:

With your podcast today, we were reminded that you can’t buy integrity. From day one you have remained true to the mission of the Thirty Day Challenge. You have “practiced what you preached” and that is a quality that you don’t see much of nowadays.

Many people, including myself, have expressed their feelings of gratitude and indebtedness for what you have so generously shared with them. I believe that one way to repay your efforts is to go forward as Thirty Day Challengers, armed with the knowledge you’ve given us and using our extraordinary numbers, elevate the quality of the internet to levels so high that that many of these “in the shadows” sorts will find it difficult to compete.

    You the man!

  37. Lynn Lombardi Says:

Hot diggity! I am truly fortunate to have missed encountering any and all of the miserable spam sites that have sprung up. I listened to this podcast with a heavy heart because it’s just simply wrong that a loathe some group of cruds would inject their pus into the most incredulous marketing endeavor ever undertaken on the Net. Isn’t it enough that you selfish bastards have received some of the most incredible FREE info, assistance, and 24/7 dedication provided selflessly and endlessly to the 30 DC challengers by the wizard team of Ed, Dan, Rob, and their able-bodied assistants? Go crawl back under your collective rocks with your big ball aspirations and let this fine community carry on as originally intended.

  38. marilyn robertson Says:

Thank you to everyone involved in running the TDC. I, like others noted above, started really late and have been scrambling like crazy to try to down load and listen to everything before the end of the month fearing that it would disappear before I could finish. I am certain that there are computer screen reflections gazing back at anyone I look at, I have spent so long in front of it!! So if you extend the opportunity for me to continue at a more reasonable pace and do this properly(!) I am most grateful. I have understood alot of this info before as I keep my eyes open about marketing on the net — but no one has been able to connect the dots together for me. A heartfelt thankyou! I love the aussie accent, I love the fact that we have top class people giving us their knowledge (for free) and pouring in an immense amount of their ’free’ time to do this for us, and I love the kids in the background! I makes it down to earth and real and believable. I think you have all captured the respect of most of us out here!

Kudos to you all, and whatever way you can deal with the scammers and complainers will be accepted by me. Do what you have to do. Thank you for your generosity.

  39. Shannon Cole Says:

#*&% the spammers! Keep it in house Ed if ya gotta. I’m with you 110%.

    ~Shannon

p.s. and oh, thanks for keeping the challenge alive after the 30 days! That’s just awesome.

  40. Marc Berry Says:

    Hi Ed:

While I am a touch disappointed about the “Secret Sauce”, I completely understand and support your decision to with hold it. As for continuing the 30DC, look for me to be a little more active on the forums, cause I am so there! If there is any help I can offer, please don’t hesitate to ask. Talk to you soon!

    Cheers, Marc

  41. Marion Says:

Thank you for a brilliant insight into Web2.0, I didn’t even know it existed.I have learned so much over the past month and am sincerely glad it will be continuing. I will be there

However, you constantly suggest in your podcasts and videos to contribute and use the forums, and I for one have been involved with this the 30 Day Challenge and yet I find that I am unable to register or to post on the forums. Can you tell me why this is so? This is the message that I get when trying to register.

“Sorry, registration has been disabled by the administrator.”

Once again a sincere thank you.

  42. KT Erwin Says:

Ed and Dan, thank you so much for your generosity. Every day has been “special”. I have learned more so far than I even knew was out there to discover. I have stayed up until past midnight and typed endless phrases. I have not made my ten yet, but what I have learned is PRICELESS. I now have a big picture viewpoint and I’m going to jump back into another challenge until I get it right.
Your willingness to keep this going is a real gift to the internet marketing community. What you are doing is “Unleashing Ethics” to fight the Spam Hell out there. Give me a pretty pink water pistol and I’ll charge Spam Hell with you. The power of the 30DC community and a well monitored forum can make a difference.

  43. Claire Bone Says:

I am so glad you are continuing on. I was already getting withdrawl symptoms as month end grew closer.
Now I know I can get my 30DC fix for a few months more! Whew……………..

  44. Linda Abbit Says:

    Dear Ed & Company,

Thank you for building a community, giving, teaching, enriching, empowering and encouraging. Please watch this video to see what I mean. I didn’t create it, but I agree with its message completely and it definitely applies to you all!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-Lm_U9yEP0

    With deepest gratitude and love,

    Linda

  45. Helene Zemel Says:

Thanks 30 Day Challenge Team. I’m going to recommend the 30 Day Challenge to some of my brokers who are interested in learning more about how to market our business over the internet. I appreciate it too. Some of us who are relatively new can use the motivation of the ongoing process.

    Helene

  46. Kathy Robinson Says:

Ed, Dan, Rob et al - thank you from the bottom of my heart. Like others have already said, I have learned so much more than I knew there could be to learn, and I probably still have only touched the surface. I haven’t made a sale but that’s not a problem for me. I’ve learned the process of how to make sales in the future ethically - and that’s more important than anything else as far as I’m concerned.

I don’t look upon the challenge as a race - it’s a wonderful and exciting journey, one that I started on my own but have now ‘met and made friends with’ many good people, people I am proud to associate with. And I am overjoyed that my journey has just been made longer - as long as I want it to take and the prospect of meeting even more like-minded friends is both exciting and soothing. I know my new friends (the staying types) share my values and will be there when needed, as we would be for them.

Ed, your three beautiful daughters are very lucky and will go places in life. They have parents who teach the important things - integrity, values, ethics, honesty, charity - the things that will stand them in good stead no matter what they choose to do.

As for the secret sauce - I’m sure it could have been the ‘cream topping’ on a wonderful dessert but we’re doing great without it. And I’ve always believed you can’t miss what you don’t know about.

  47. George Kedourie Says:

Hi Ed and Dan and Rob,

I echo all the positive comments above, especially that of Noeline Cairns.
Over the last year I had Slowly figured out many of the things you are teaching us, however you guys have explained it all in a practical way that ties everything together clearly and understandably.
Also you have made us aware of several incredible tools that perhaps others are using but keeping to themselves.

I was absolutely intrigued by your Secret Sauce because if what you have unravelled with Gtrends is anything to go by….
    Ah well!
I will continue to follow and listen to you guys and trust that one of these days you will figure a way to share with the deserving (even if from behind closed doors).

    Once again,
    Thankyou and Best Wishes,

    George

PS I love Twitter on my cell/mobile phone!

PPS Let me know if you are ever in the Balearic Islands and maybe I can share some of my different kind of knowledge with you…

  48. Mike Gillis Says:

    Hi Ed,

Once again you and your team have completely out did yourself. Not only is this a great idea because who would want to build a community of this size and natural and see it more less drift away in the wind! Even though this year, the 30 day challenge has become the largest marketing/coaching (or whatever it was exactly) on the internet, just between the 1st challenge and this one you and your team are definitely the best. Meaning better education, than what I’ve received from stuff I paid for.

But do to this month being extremely busy, not enough time has been put toward the challenge, I will need to continue through out next month (unless a commission is made… still a few days left)

So once again, thank you for all
    Mike

  49. Ayopeju Falekulo Says:

Ed, you’ve made my day. This is a fab program and very helpful to newbies and oldies alike. Thanks so much I wish I’d known in 2005 I would be a long way along now.

  50. Benjamin Acevedo Says:

I need the to know if you guys are going to close down the training site after we have completed the 30 day chalenge.

  51. Debbie Upston Says:

    Hi Ed Dan and Team

Think it has all been said above. It’s a big thank you to you all.

As I’m a real newbie and got behind over past few week or so. I am so pleased you have given us the chance to continue. I know there are a lot like me out there that aren’t techy at all and need time to learn. So will keep going and keep learning.

Again A BIG THANK YOU. :-)

    Cheers
    Deb

  52. Tom the furry hat guy Says:

I have done very well in the 30 day challenge. I made a video every single day of the 30 day challenge on youtube.com. If you would like to see them. Go to: http://youtube.com/furryhatguy Look up day 20 where I battle “the evil furry hat guy,” where he plans to bring me back to the corporate side. Oh and by the way, I have made over $5000 in the last 30 days with this 30 day challenge. Thank you!

  53. Theresa Nielsen Says:

Thank you for the entertaining and informative program presented. I am extremely grateful, and nice lovely family you have there Ed. I sure hope I did not bug anyone with my concerns over our Constitutional Republic here in the US which is being changed covertly. As I have participated in many of these social events I see that people all over the world have pretty much the same needs and that is to be free, to laugh, learn, share their knowleadge, wisdom, growth and family peace. I have hope in that all will go well and that there could be more peace around world.

    Hi Ed,
As you see by the date I am seriously behind in the challenge-I am sharing a computer and that hasn’t always been happy!
I must say that I have never learned so much before in such a short period of time and it’s thanks to you, Ed and to Dan, Rob and the rest of the 30DC team.
I am ecstatic that now I will continue to learn “white hat” tactics. God bless you for that! You are truly magnificent!
I must tell you Ed that you are a wonderful, delightful teacher-that’s praise from a retired teacher by the way!
I admire you for your ethical approach to marketing and I thank you so much for what you are doing here!

    sincerely,

    Suzanne

  59. Kelley Brown Says:

    Hi Ed

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I signed up late to the Thirty Day Challenge and have not yet caught up. I am soooo thankful that you are keeping this available for all of us who fall into this category.

As for the spammers, I just don’t get it! Do they not realize that they are going to get shut down?
I think these people must have no self esteem and be little people.
Are they scared to compete with the honest folks?

My message to all of the spammers is this, I hope you stop what you’re doing before it comes back to bite you in the *SS! Cheaters never prosper, and the sad part is that you don’t seem to understand is that means you! I hope what your advertising falls off, or at the very least, stops working!

A basket of nice red apples will always have a bad one in it. Kudos to Ed and his team for not letting the bad apples destroy the best thing we’ve ever seen.

  60. Brennan Kingsland Says:

Dear Ed, Dan, Rob & Crew,

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the valuable advice you have given the 30DC group.
I knew I was supposed to research, test and track, but I figured I’d get around to it eventually. Now I know that’s the place to START.

As Noeline said, “I was saddened to hear what you have all had to put up with in the background which has tarnished your experience of this momentous occasion, but for me and the 99.9% we hold you all in such high esteem and (as) marketers that we can truly trust and admire. (there is always the well poisoners).”

During the training I picked up that you had gotten some flak over “waffling” and “um-ing without editing”. I want you to know that I thoroughly enjoyed your style of presentation. It was like being in a conversation with a real person, not a robot. Tell the people who were complaining to “stuff it” and go get their EXTREMELY VALUABLE FREE training elsewhere.

I was literally shrieking with laughter when you started the Day #17, 22 or whatever training with “today I’m going to teach you how to email 3 million people and get them to transfer all their banking info to you . . . ” I’ve gotten so many of those stupid emails in my short internet career, but I didn’t know that YOU had that same opportunity.

Did you know that someone in Zimbabwe has gotten stuck with a lotta cash that they need to mail to me, so they can get it out of the country safely? Unfortunately, I don’t have the $2,000 to handle costs that they need before they can send me the money. Aw, Shucks!

Thank you for continuing the 30DC. I got a late start, and my sister was even later. Now we can finish with our September group. As for the Secret Sauce, I understand why you feel it’s necessary to withhold it but I wish it wasn’t so. Perhaps later, when we “legitimate” 30DCrs make a lotta money, you can tell us where to go to get the secret sauce.

Again, thank you Ed and thank you all for helping us build better lives for ourselves and our families.

    God Bless You,
    Brennan

All I can say is I am amazed at the generosity found here…there’s always a few bad apples, but the genuine caring and sharing for no financial benefit again and again and again truly amazes me. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am sure all the good you have done will come back to you 1,000 times over. Ed, the world needs more of you. Dan, Rob, Mike thank you for your hard work. I have learned so much and will thankfully continue on. I look forward to being able to catch up on the forums.

Thanks again….I will pass on the generous spirit of your 30 challenges whenever I can.

  62. Rick Louis Says:

    Hi Ed & All;

First off, please allow me to say to each (and EVERY ONE) of you:

    “Full Marks”

For all you have done with this Edition of the TDC.

Your (collective) achievement in the ‘entity’ you have evolved the TDC into is both remarkable and inspiring.

This ‘vehicle’ (for want of a better term), establishes a new standard for the concept of “giving back”; a standard unlikely to be eclipsed in the foreseeable future.

As you have already heard by many before me:

“Thank You All”, for the direction, knowledge, mentor-ship, and patience you have unfailingly exhibited throughout these past 31 days.

Considering all you have had to deal with (above & beyond your original expectations at the onset), all I can say is “You’re A Better Man Than I Am Gunga Din”.

You have made an excellent (series of) decision(s) as to the future (of what you have built); It would be such a waste to simply walk away from all you have created, in this venue.

The “rules” (you established in your Pod Cast) are more than fair, and considering the “BS” your ‘magnificent offer’ (the TDC engendered), make wonderful sense.

Yes, I will follow the lead(s) you have set forth in the TDC, and while I (too) have yet to make my ‘first $10′, I will keep after the foundation lessons you have established here, until I earn sufficient ‘denaro’ to “retain a paid mentor-ship”, and it will DEFINITELY be of an ‘Aussie’ nature, eh? (no ’solicitation’ required ;-).

I (HUGELY) respect those that truly push forward ‘the free-line’, as you and your team have so aptly demonstrated.

Funny thing, Ed; About a year ago I got a call, about 7:30 P.M., at home from Mr. GH.; Blew Me Away…

Something I had sent to him aroused his interest, and ‘Whada’ Ya Know’, there we were…

    A WONDERFUL experience…

    Only wish I’d had had the resources you possessed (so as to spend the time with him that you did);

Gary was a Great Guy (may we all live so well as to be so fortunate as to pass as he was granted; a gift for which he was absolutely entitled).

Don’t mean to be macabre, just an observation…

So, Ed, you & me will tag up (in the not too distant future).

Bet on it; You are an individual I genuinely want to know waaay better; an ‘odd duck’, as they say; eh?

Consider this an act of “Setting An Intension”.

Nonetheless, for the moment, please accept this (missive) as my THANK YOU for all you are, and all you have done, to date.

As ‘they’ say, Ed, “Talk Soon”, eh?

    Best Regards, My Friend;

    Rick Louis

  64. Tamsin Butters Says:

Got a bit behind and only just catching up now so thanks for this podcast Ed - just shame that there will always be a minority who want to dampen things for the majority. Fantastic news that TDC is continuing beyond the challenge as I was already starting to get withdrawal symptoms from the thought of it finishing. Yours and Dan’s and Rob’s and the rest of the team’s teachings have been phenomenal, all the more so because it’s been free to all of us, which is amazing, and your enthusiasm for simply wanting to share with others will win out - in other words don’t give the miniscule number of critics a second thought - really looking forward to continuing on this journey with you all.

    All the best

    Tamsin
