We’re Hiring
Howdy Gang
We have a couple of openings in Melbourne and Manchester for Interns to assist in running our Internet business.
You will be paid!
You will not be paid much…
We are looking for people who have a lot of enthusiasm and really want to make it marketing online.
It might surprise you to know that I have been an intern! It might surprise you more that I was a multi-millionaire at the time!
I really wanted to know the information marketing business from the ground up - so I took a commission only position with an organization so I could learn the ropes from the inside. I did it for a year and it was invaluable.
I also went and lived with Gary Halbert in Miami for a month. That was one hell of an experience!
Lets be clear - you won’t be doing glamourous work BUT you will see how everything hangs together and be on the inside working with Dan, I and the rest of the team. There will be a lot of admin type work and you will need to know your way around a Mac (notice that I said Mac) if your applying for the position and want to work remotely - a mac with leopard is a must - we live on iChat!
Dan, Rob and I spent about six hours yesterday working on forward plans for our business and we did it all on iChat
The way I see it you will be with us for about a year - I would of hoped by then you would be raring to go out and start making info-products of your own.
While I’m happy to consider “virtual intern” arrangements - in truth, we are both going to get a lot more out of it if you are living near-by, if i need you to help me with a location shoot holding the camera - it’s going to be a bit hard doing that from Boston.
For the Melbourne position, there is an option for us to provide accommodation, internet, computer etc as part of the deal. In Manchester you’ll need to talk to Dan!
For the right person this is a golden opportunity. You will need to be a go-getter (duh!) and if you have seen/read “the devil wears prada” - you’ll have a great idea about the level of direction you will get (I’m kidding - mostly…)
Interviews will be conducted via iChat and in person at Melbourne and Manchester
You can send your application to eddale@mac.com
(now here’s a tip - think about your application, I barely passed high school, attended two classes at collage and as evidenced by the seven deliberate spelling mistakes above can hardly string two words together. CV’s make me sleepy - who you are, and what your prepared to do, what you love and what get’s you up in the morning (apart from the alarm clock!!) is far more interesting. In Fact, what you HATE doing and can’t stand is even more useful - a great job application is just like a good sales letter (or video….))
One final thing - In your application answer at least this one question
Think back to when you were little and you wanted to be a ballerina, fireman, six million dollar man, eric estrada on CHiPs (careful, we all have dreams….) what did your parent of the opposite sex say to you about your dream??
Have at it - Quick Movers get bonus points

When I was little I wanted to be the one who built robots. Like Robot on Lost in Space. Lost in Space used to scare the CR@* out of me when I was little. Later on I wondered why I was scared of people dressing up as mops or trees or a space monkey.
But at the time it was very scary, and yet I was fascinated even if I watched some bits through my fingers. Well my mum wasn’t exactly enthusiastic about that dream. She is a very practical woman and couldn’t see how space robots could ever earn you a living. I mean how would you get into space? they hadn’t even invented saucer shaped space vehicles back then…Even now they still don’t have them. It wasn’t very likely to happen, now was it. Funnily enough I never got into the robot invention business, but I did get a degree in computer engineering. hey hey.

What a great opportunity! This is one of those times I wish I lived in Australia instead of California, US. I’d be so there.

Hi,
If I didn’t apply to this ‘job opportunity’ , I would be treating this email as spam - which I do not think it is.
Personally I live in Melbourne and am flexible with work - within reason. Would I have to give up my day job?
I have a website with StoresOnline and have been experiencing difficulty with credit card service providers. I am really keen to sort out a business model that works with business in the ‘real world’.
Cheers.

Hey guys I only saw this today on my RSS and I live in Manchester!
I may not be as young in years as you would expect, but I have a fire in me that has never burned brighter.
I have been looking for an opportunity like this for all my life, and here it is.
To work with Dan will be a privilege.
Rock on!

Hi Gang,
I would like to be considered-please.
At the moment I live in Grimsby UK (and yes, it is grim!!) My roots are in Lancashire (Newton-le-willows, nr wigan, warrington and st.helens and I used to carouse in Manchester a little in my youth) and I am willing to travel to broaden my cerebral experience-Hell!! I went from Grimsby to Bournemouth on National Express last May for the Andrew Reynolds 3 day conference which raised cash for Gt Ormond Street Hospital and hardly slept a wink-Journey there and back was long & bed was hard-say no moah.
I am 45 years young and mother of 4 girls-just go to http://www.squidoo.com/andrewreynolds-info or google catalysthere for more info.
My father left when I was 2 and I have no idea where he is now so I can’t answer the question. (I hope that does not rule me out)
Being a Gemini, my teachers at school did not understand me, threw their hands up in despair and dumped me on the scrap heap, refusing to let me stay on after I was 16, so I went to college instead and got a retail distribution certificate with a distinction-by way of a fingers up at you all I am not thick-just talkative-gesture!!
The most interesting thing that ever happened to me was winning a trip to the Bavarian beer festival in Munich (through being top salesperson at my workplace) which turned into a Winter Olympics instead involving lots of schnapps and snow, as part of the activities I took part in a pull the canoe race and I was run over by same canoe on a frozen lake-did not feel a thing-I paid for it in the morning though.
anyway-nuff for now, If you want to know more, you know where to catch up with me.
Bye for now.
Love Light and Peace!!

Hi Ed, Dan and Rob.
This is truly a great opportunity and something that appeals greatly to me.
Would we be able to take the job if we were already in full time work?
I live in Warrington but come from Manchester and I would love to get involved.
I have just finished the thirty day challenge and I am now living in a trance like state trying to get my head around back links and putting together the killer article.
By the way, the thirty day challenge was and is truly inspirational and has opened up so many possibilities for me.
Thank you all for sharing your expertise.
Cheers
James

Hi Ed,
I am really looking forward to this great opportunity and willing to work without pay.
When I was little I wanted to be a flight stewardess. I was told by my brothers and sisters that I would not be able to get the job because I was the ugly duckling in the family. As I finished university, I tried my luck in one of the airlines and got rejected because I did not meet the height requirements. Looking back, my brothers and sister might have said, ‘ i told you so’ for any other reason.
I don’t know where I could fit in but I try my very best to provide the service required. If things does not work out, at least I give it my best try. One of my strong points is researching task.
cheers

I’m in Alabama on a PC, but… I was COMPLETELY in love with Erik Estrada as a child and I wanted to be a truck driver - my father told me to get a boyfriend with a truck, instead! Ha!

Weighing in a little late, when I was a kid I wanted to wear a white coat and goggles. I later found out scientists do that. I later found out that the area of science I was interested in doesn’t pay very well. Now I’m bored in a well paying IT job.
I WANT TO BE A SCIENTIST!!
I’m not sure what my mum thought about it all…

Is this Manchester, UK, or is there another one somewhere? I’m thinking its another one, perhaps down under? Can someone enlighten me? Cheers.
