The First 30DC Podcast! Hurrah!
This years Thirty Day Challenge pre-season training has just started. Sign up right now by entering your name and email address in the boxes below.
I love podcasts - it’s like having a one on one conversation with you. We will be using these audio recordings alot during the challenge and I know from meeting many of you as I have traveled that they are your favorite part of the challenge.
You can download the first podcast here (Make sure you installed iTunes before you do or you may have trouble playing the file.)
Now if you have subscribed to the Thirty Day Challenge - As I showed you yesterday - the podcast will automatically pop up in there - which is very cool!

Not sure what I’m doing wrong. I have subscribed to and have downloaded all videos so far into Itunes but this podcast won’t download.

The same thing happerns for me. I see all the videos on itunes ( including the new stumbleupon ones) but this podcast audio file is not there.

Got it sorted - this feed onl;y recognises mp3 - you will be getting now. just hit the refresh button when you are in the podcast section of iTunes

Great podcast! Just wondering, can the podcasts be posted in mp3 format?
Reason being I have an MP3 player (not an ipod or shuffle) and it would be nice to listen when out for my daily walks.

Hi Ed,
I have been trying to download the Podcasts Underachiever Life and Underachiever Mastery but I get an error message from the latter “can’t find site” and no blue spot in the left hand column for the former so when I click nothing happens

Will there be such a transcript or subtitle? Lot of tunes and videos will be used as mentioned and I can’t hear. I would like to see a transcript or subtitle add to the video so I can participate.

What one is this in itunes? I can’t get this file to play.
I looked for the the file name in itunes and it’s not there…

I didn’t see it either…Just going to try manually downloading the file for now…Would be nice for it to show up in ITunes though…

Sorry to bother you when I know you are busy getting all this stuff going.
I am still behind and trying to catch up but am not sure how that will work as my wife has been having some trouble health wise and I have not been able to get time on the computer.
Anyway, I went through the steps in getting itunes set up and subscribing to the thirty day challenge and clicked on “get all” so I would have a way to continue no matter how my time goes. But only 4 podcasts were downloaded and not in order - the original one, 2 day 3’s and day 7. I cannot seem to find out how to go about getting the others downloaded and get itunes to subsequently download the coming broadcasts.

The missing audio files are not shown under podcasts, but you’ll find them in the “Music” files on iTunes Library!

How do you shift a podcast from the main music library to Podcasts? I have spent a lot of time reading Support Q&As and can’t seem to find an answer.
Simply “dragging and dropping” doesn’t do the trick. Help!

I set up itunes and this podcast isn’t showing up. I tried downloading but it won’t play, I get an error message. I also subscribed to “underachiever life” but nothing downloaded.

maybe next time you can do an advanced version for people like myself… over 10 years of experience in internet work… completely plugged into whats currently happening. This is not a bitter comment, but so far to this point I could have handled all this in 15 minutes. Maybe you can bring me on next year to make the advanced version

Hi Ed,
I’m starting the 30DC in April 2008 and I’m having the same problem as above.
Do you have these files in mp3 format for download so I can put them in the Podcasts folder and they’ll be seen.
I even tried the importing function and it still doesn’t show up under podcasts.

Thanks for making this excellent program for newbie marketers. The podcasts are great because you can listen to them while doing routine chores on your PC or taking the dog for a walk.
I just discovered the 30DC about 2 weeks ago and I must say you guys are doing a great job. I do look forward to this year’s 30DC!

I have been unable to get any of the materials into ITunes. There is a ! in the status column of Itunes and an error that says the site may be text only. I have subscribed to: http://feeds.feedburner.com/ThirtyDayChallenge. What’s wrong?
