The massive volume of email I receive each day from you has reached spammy proportions. Occasionally, there is something of value which is not 100% self promoting - fair enough.
However, your reliance on video has just gotten WAY out of whack!
Some of us don’t have audio on our pc’s. Some of us are visually impaired. Some of us are deaf.
Have you heard of web standards? Considered giving text equivalents? Considered the value of still images with text which can be enjoyed by everyone (thanks to the use of alt tags and screen readers)?
Rather than focusing 100% on profit, how about spending .1% thinking about the real world, and making your content accessible to the rest of us!

Rob, I hear what you’re saying about providing things in different formats, but I don’t understand your “rather than focusing 100% on profit” comment. The 30DC is absolutely free - Ed is not asking you to watch his videos about this year’s 30DC in order to get you to spend any money.
Also, the Thirty Day Challenge is aimed at those who want to start using the Internet in order to make money, and so a certain level of technology is considered important for that work. Now, I agree that this shouldn’t exclude those who are visually or hearing impaired but you have to realise that Ed will aim his work at the majority of visitors to this site, who do have audio and video capabilities.

Rob
I take issue at the Spam comments - I just think that is wrong. If your referring to the volume of email, That I’m afraid will continue to increase as we are gearing up to the challenge - There are other options - and ill be showing it to you in preseason.
Now The video comment has merit - During the challenge and preseason we will be using many modes to deliver the information - This has been a priority for this year - we will talk about this specifically on the launch show - which will have show notes.
