Lesson two is now live in the pre-season section of the site. As you know - I use a Mac (as do FIFTY PERCENT OF YOU - a stunning change from the first challenge!!). Flock for the PC works exactly the same way BUT to find the options -you need to look in the options section of the tool menu.
Everything else works exactly the same way.
Have Fun
Ed
Hi Ed
Just posted a comment your youtube vid re exactly the same thing.
Windows users - use Tools | Options to set your preferences.

Thanks Ed,…. I’m loving this Flock Browser.
I just made the change to Linux (Ubuntu) from Windows XP. Everything is pretty straight forward and I can even run Windows XP on top of it if I need. Hopefully, I can do the 30 day challenge and install Flock without problems with my new Linux OS.
Fifty percent is just amazing. It proves how suited a Mac is to online marketing though. Literally everything is easier.
Cheers,
Nez
Worth following this for the Flock browser tip alone, thanks Ed it rocks.
I THink That Ed Dale is the best promoter for Mac
I lived the mac after being in the 30 DC III
I have installed flock and I like the browser took me a while to figure out all features.
Thank you Ed for the lessons and look forward for the rest of lessons.
I just noticed that the 2007 Challenge training is going to be deleted today. Gee, I’m really disappointed by that. Is there any hope of of reprieve?
HELP
I dont have the tab with “preferences” on it
how do you get this?
Paul
@ paul: preferences is under the flock menu (all the way left) if you’re on a mac.
If you’re on window, follow ed’s tip above.
Am I correct that there have only been two lessons so far? Just don’t want to miss a thing!
still anxious for the next post! i’ve been using flock for the past couple of days and i am loving it!
Hi Guys and Gals,
I just wanted to answer the question about last years training…. The thing is, lots of things have changed in a year, our job here is to make sure we teach you what works. This years challenge will differ a fair bit, perhaps its even a game changer, but what we didn’t want people to do is rush off on a path that will no longer work the same.

Hi Ed,
Great session - one of the biggest sticking points for me is not knowing the power of the tools and how to use them to best effect - to me, this pre-season stuff is as important, if not more important, than the challenge itself - looking forward to the extensions session!!!
Nice short vid to the point, too!!
Cheers,
Karen
Hi Ed
Please help??!
Am not receiving any emails …..
I have signed up for the 30DayChallenge and am really excited about it (through Caroline Middlebrook’s blog)
But I am not receiving any emails, or access passwords for some reason. I tried to signup again, using another email address, but still not receiving any confirmation, etc
Could you please advise, as this is the first training program on the internet that I have really decided to commit to! I am so impressed with wha I have seen and with Caroline’s experiences and review (plus saw a couple of YouTub vids)
Hoping to hear from you!
Kind Regards

PS - I used to be a Mac user at University, but when I got a job, had to switch to PC - and still on it and VISTA/XP drive me nuts!!
Does anyone have any recommendations for a GOOD MAC. COMPUTER? Not too high-priced, but relatively good RAM and space. ??????
MACINTOSH, MACINTOSH - OH WHER’ST ART’ THOU’
[...] Lesson 2 - Where To find Flock Options on the PC [...]
Hey Ed,
I just upgraded my computers as I needed new ones, and whilst I was looking around I thought “well, Ed uses a MAC so maybe I should look into them”.
At the end of the day however, I was able to get 2 state of the art PC laptops for less than the price of 1 MAC laptop (macbook?), that the sales guy said wouldn’t run half the programs I wanted it for.
Sorry Ed, I will stick with the PC camp for now!
Cheers

P.S. 50% MAC users? Sounds like a lot really considering the market share.
LOL, I use BOTH, just got myself the MacBook Pro earlier this year cuz I missed my Macintosh SO MUCH! I also use an HP Media Center desktop running Windows XP. (Vista is on the shelf gathering dust)
Sure is easy when you know where to look. Thank You
