Ed,

Watching this tutorial right now and am absolutely cheering for your support of micro-loans.

My church supports ministry efforts in Nigeria and part of that is micro-loans. My pastor spoke on it and it just floored me. What people may not realize is that in at least Nigerian society, it is the make that earns the money for the family. If he is gone (dies, leaves, whatever) society basically shuns the mother and her children.

They go into a sort of black hole with no chance for hope. Ready for an example? This is just one of many stories. A lady received a $50 micro-loan and purchased a sewing machine. With that, she opened a seamstress business and was able to support her and her family! Life changing!!

Kudos again! I have often thought about starting a small niche site and have all the proceeds go to micro-loans. Just think if 100 people did the same with just one site. Maybe a site that earns just $100/mo profit. That would be $10,000 every month going to help the poor. At an average loan amount of $50, that would be 200 lives changed each and every month. Staggering!!

God bless you, Dan and the team. :-)

Sally: never too late. I'm catching up since wednesday and have almost all the preseason done (I'm at FriendFeed right now). It takes more time for all this information and tool-skills to really sink in, so it would have been better if I had stayed on schedule in the first place, but it is never too late until you're exhaling your last dying breath.

Ed: thanks a ton for all your effort, enthusiasm, and tigger-ness (as in Randy Rausch's last lesson tigger, thanks for twittering that! Awesome boost! Anyone who hasn't, watch it at http://twurl.nl/u3gtly).

Hugs

I live in Syd and I have finally got the time to dedicate myself to the 30 days challenge.. and Immediate edge looks so cool!.. although don't think I'm ready (As yet.. I WILL SOON!)

This is what I call 'overdelivering' done in realtime...>> 30 days challenge.

Is it too late to start like.. now?

Hi Ed,

You probably get tired of hearing this, but thanks for the opportunity to learn what you are teaching. I watch the videos over and over to catch what I've missed. I had the opportunity to explain to someone today what social networking was all about and I used probably every instance that I've learned here on your lessons. I'm enjoying this.

I'm not in a team though and haven't located one in my area (Wilmington, NC) so if you have an idea there please let me know. I also don't have a product to put up. My book will not be finished in time for the Aug 31st deadline.

Anyway, thanks again! You Rock!
