Day 25 - D-Day Part 2
This years Thirty Day Challenge pre-season training has just started. Sign up right now by entering your name and email address in the boxes below.
We’re on the downhill run!
Big, big decision today - do you move forward with your niche? Or do you start again with another keyword phrase? Great thing is you don’t have to go on gut feeling. Take emotion out of it and rely on the facts.
One thing I hope you’re getting from this whole process is testing and measuring is the key to success.
And if it works out that your niche doesn’t cut the mustard, you’ve still got plenty of time to make that first dollar in a new niche.
In any case, check out Day 25 - I walk you through how to decide your next steps.

Ed. I made it to the first page on a broad search for my keyword but I’m not yet getting the traffic. One of the problems is that WPD themes have stupid restrictions written into them which inhibit their user friendliness.
There is no obvious way for visitors to get back to the main page when they click on an article or if they are sent to YouTube. I think this is an issue which needs to be addressed as many of us don’t know HTML and would probably mess up the blog by trying to fix it.

With Hubpages everything is great. But I messed completely with WordpressDirect. As I could not delete themI asked them to take both sites I did from the net. But it seems it is not so easy like that. Guess I will just use Hubpages, Weebly and Wordpress.com
Any support you can give concerning WordpressDirect.
But I am happy that I found my niche.

WPD told me that I should consider a HTML design service but I thought the object of the exercise was to avoid expense and technical issues as much as possible. They simply haven’t optimised the wpd themes with the end user in mind. Keeping visitors on one’s site should be a priority. Encouraging them to leave means they may never come back.
Anyway, I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who had trouble. I’ve not even used Hubpages yet as I don’t have time to write articles for everyone and also, I have to be careful because they usurp the copyright. Anyone can use a Digg article for example and if, like me, you’re writing a book, you can’t afford to give away your best information. People are out there just looking at all the relevant articles to see how they can use them to their advantage.

Brilliant vid Ed - possibly one of the most important of the TDC as it succinctly gives people a step by step checklist for going with a niche or not. Priceless information, and helps to bring it all together for me, thanks a mil.
