If a person has a non-abundance mind set, then that is how they live their life. The universe is abundant! If spending a dollar or two for a ring tone bothers you, especially when it is just a choice and not a requirement, then in the overall scheme of things, what is worth a dollar? I would not want to live in your head. Your mind-set will defeat you.

I am buying multiple TDC ringtones, and had to order a special cable for my phone in order to download them. I paid for all very happily and can’t wait for the cable to arrive so my phone will play the TDC theme song.

I look forward to having someone hear it and recognize it - TDCers world wide, just too cool!

Like Lisa said above, anyone would expect to pay even more for any other ring tones, so why would they even question $1. You waited until the end of the challenge to even make them available, so NO one should have a problem with that.

Anyway, Phil, just know that 99% of us really appreciate you and your hard work. Any hey, why shouldn’t you make money on your effort, after all, that is what we are all here to learn to do.

When Phill said he was going to be creating ringtones I fully expected him to sell them through a service like iTunes and to have to pay the “going” rate.

The work and effort that Phill put into creating the 30DC theme tune is immense. Making a few bucks back is hardly recompense.

Anyway, buying the songs/ringtones is optional. No one is forcing you to spend money on them. If you like the songs and can’t afford them, then you can still listen to them on YouTube. It is not an essential part of the 30DC to own them - Phill simply made them available because enough people asked for them.

Please, instead of complaining about what isn’t free, be thankful for all the many things that are. Including that 2 wonderful theme tunes that have kept us entertained both last year and this year.

The Thirty Day Challenge is free only because Ed and Dan decided it to be free. They are paying loads of money to host this every year. Not to mention the time dedicated.

Right now as we speak, I’m sure there’s a seminar being organized where people are paying thousands of dollars to learn the same information that you just learned. In fact, people pay Ed and Dan money every month to learn this information.

I for one really appreciate everything that they’ve given us. The information provided is priceless.

If Ed, Dan, or anyone else that’s involved with the Thirty Day Challenge creates a product that we have to pay for, I don’t have a problem with it. It’s outside the learning of the challenge itself and perfectly ok with me.

So Phill… WE THANK YOU for the time and effort it took to create the theme song. It’s was amazing. I hope your ring tones help repay you.

Hi guys, I just wanted to step in here to set the record straight and clear things up to avoid any confusion, so here goes.

Ed, Dan and the rest of the 30DC team are not in anyway affiliated with me in anyway what so ever. The 30DC Theme Song was written by me for them to use and I do not get paid for any part of it.

What I do get from it, is the Kudos of having my song played in most of the broadcasts and the opportunity to be introduced to new friends and associates though the use of my music during the Thirty Day Challenge. That’s enough for me - Although a few $1000’s would be nice (I’m kidding).

The song and video took me somewhere around 100 hours to produce spread over a couple of months. You know that Ed & Dan’s ethos is to provide people with a much training as humanly possible during the month of August for zero outlay, which they achieved admirably and your only expenditure this year was possibly a domain name, although a free option was provided.

In order to not step on the toes of the 30DC ethos, I checked with Ed if it was okay for me to monetize the 30DC ringtones in order to try and amortize some of my own expenditure/loss of earnings during the creation of the 30DC theme song and the ringones – Ed said “with my blessings”.

So there it is, I too am a 30 Day Challenger just like you and I felt it was necessary for everyone to know why the 30DC ringtones are $1 each and I hope the majority of you can understand and appreciate why I chose to do so.

Once again, just to clarify, this is not Ed or Dan charging for the ringtones, this is my decision, so I apologies if you feel that $1 is “stepping over the line” but I at least wanted to chance to explain – thank you for your understanding.

I am not feeling the charge for the ring tones. The Theme song was set up for the TDC which is a free event. Charging for them even one dollor is just taking it too far guys. We know its all about making money but in this case I think you may have over stepped the line.
