  8. Mark DMello Says:

Looks like I am still stuck with the 15K challenge. This sounds more exciting though.

  9. Dan Rosenfield Says:

I greatly appreciate all the help and information, and fully understand my complaint may make me sound like a jerk…or prove I am one. In any case, Ed, I beg you to make the videos briefer. Many of us have limited time and care little about guitar sites, blues sites, etc. The quicker you can tell us what we have to know, the better…particularly if we’re playing “catch up”.

  10. Curt Lankford Says:

Any quickie tips for the unfortunate ones of us who JUST joined?? It’s all very confusing.

  11. Kelly Piet Says:

*faints* :D I didn’t know I was so behind…but, I will try to look through all that tonight!!! After all, it only looks like 50hrs worth of material :D

Excited!! (I just joined Curt..my tip: lots of coffee??? hahahha)

  15. Rawslyn Ruffin Says:

This is going to be great. I’m usually low key, but I’ve enthusiastically talked up the 30 Day Challenge to over half a dozen of my local friends. But I tend to make friends with lots of different people — and I currently hang out with lots of “technologically challenged”, “online risk averse” folks. Perhaps by living vicariously through my blog reports (coooool! we’ll have blogs!!!) they’ll be anxious to do a future 30DC 2008.

Anyway, needless to say, I can’t wait until everything starts falling into place. Yea!!! Thanks, everyone.

  16. David Ferrers Says:

    Hi Ed,

Dan’s video about Facebook was excellent, very clear. Your videos are also very good content but you do miss out steps and you go very fast. I checked out with the rest of my team at this morning’s conference and we all have to backtrack on your videos because you do not always show us where your cursor is and you quite often go very quickly over new things.

Could you please watch Dan’s video and see how carefully he explains everything. The pace of his video was excellent.

    David for The Laughing Cavaliers

  17. Maurice G. Says:

This is all still confusing to me, but I’m try’n my best to keep up as well as understand what’s going at the same time. I am enthusiastically excited, confused and eager to get started with what I don’t know already! You know what I mean? ;D

    Lets Roll!

Hi to all the people who just joined. I joined Tuesday night - my advice - start at the beginning and do all the steps as the video plays. Press pause, download - repeat this action many times. Then when you don’t absorb any more information, do the same thing the next day.

Your videos and audio are phenominal. We could not get anyone anywhere to take what is the most valuable asset which is our time to do this type of education. You take hours on video if you need too or audio as well. I think you will see most of the majority of us appreciate all your doing and the time your taking to do this.

    Thanks for all you do!

  48. Tim Junck Says:

Cheers everyone! Wow, did I miss out for about a week….time to get moving!

Will be looking to join up on a team. Any spanish-speaking, newbie Internet marketers anywhere around here? Ok, can do English, too. Even spent some time in Oz, so I might get by with the modified lingo you guys use over there!

See you all in the forum.

    Cheers,
    junckster

P.S. I’m in Malaysia - time zone will be most compatible with Oz, NZ, and Asia.

  49. B-man Says:

I am totally confused. All I see are PreSeason info.

It is now Aug 3, and I don’t have or see any links to the ACTUAL 30 DAY PROGRAM!

Am I the only one to say this, am I calling the Emporer Wearing No Clothes, but …
there is a boatload of videos to watch, and this does not seem methodical or organized but instead feels more like: “clobber everybody over the head with videos and emails and forums, but where is the MEAT?”

  50. Solutionlady Says:

Just got the email about the challenge - I have a lot of catching up!!
I am not sure if this where I need to be - Ed mentioned something about teams?
    Looking forward to the challenge
    Solutionlady

  51. Mike U Says:

I agree with previous post by B-man. In addition I don’t understand why there are no transcripts to video and audio nor tutorials in PDF format. Isn’t it because creating video/audio is cheaper?

Video/audio is not good for a number of reasons:

    - it takes more time to view/listen than read, because you cannot change speed of video/audio as you can read faster

    - video/audio files takes more resources on a computer

    - you have to have a notepad to take notes

    - not everyone likes Australian accent

  57. Herb Overstreet Says:

I joined today after returning from a three week vacation. I believe I am different than most participating in this challenge. I am not interested (at the moment) to create a money making site. I volunteered to create a web site for our local bowling association. This is all new as my IT knowledge is with databases (Oracle, Informix, SQL Server) and not with web pages. So here I go head first into the darkness.
