Guru Bob has recorded several videos for Thirty Day Challenge Pre-season on Firefox.
Firefox will be the recommended web browser for this years 30DC due to it’s availability on many platforms, extendibility through plugins and toolbars and speed.
We are also recommending a number of plugins and toolbars which we would like you to install.

Hi, I’m just wondering, if I am using Flock, is it necessary to install Firefox as well?
You can ultimately use any browser you like - We choose Firefox this year because sadly Flock is reall, really struggling in the performance area - they know this and are going to release a new version based on google chrome - trouble is its not going to be here on time for the challenge. There will also be an issue with using the very cool plug-in’s that Guru Bob showed you.
All the plug-ins that we are showing you how to use are available to use for flock.

I would like to add that there are some issues with Flock and certain add-on’s not working, such as Last Pass(https://lastpass.com). I am glad to hear that Flock is going to be releasing a faster version. I hope that they address the extension/ add-on compatibility issues as well!
Hi,
I am having problems with Firefox. Worked fine for me for some months but started playing up last December. Despite trying all sorts of things recommended on the Firefox site nothing has solved the problems. Firstly, all my extensions stopped working. Could not fix. Saved bookmarks, deleted profile, uninstalled then reinstalled. Now, every time I restart Firefox it either tells me it can’t restart because it’s already running or if I manage to restart I lose all the extensions. I have tried creating a new profile but every time I shut down Firefox the new profile is gone when I restart it !!!!
For a recommended browser it seem pretty crap !!!!

I’ve used Firefox for almost 2 years and never had a problem with it, and just out of curiosity I installed “Google Chrome” and I like it even better. So I keep both on my desk top and play on them both off and on every day just to see which one does me better. So far Google wins the prize. So why not just switch? Life’s too short, time is too precious …. eat the best fruit first…
