    Hi,
Is anyone else having trouble accessing all the info? I’m getting really frustrated. I keep getting blank pages and everything is loading sooooo slow. Any help/suggestions?? Thanks, Susan

  2. Fabian Lastname Says:

My suggestion: Be patient. Try again a few hours later when not thousands of others try to do the same thing on Ed’s server.

Is the below the correct url for video and audio?

    Ed et al,

Just wanted to reinforce how much I appreciate your “Why” explanations. Not only am I learning new things from your insights, but you’re helping me explain all this to my newbie teammates. Keep ‘em comin’!

  5. R. Ralston Says:

This is an ‘awesome’ experience! Thank you Ed et al, (as Suzanne aptly addressed you). The information is clear, fresh (to me), and greatly appreciated. I was not able to access the video via Firefox, but did access the audio just fine. After catching up on all of the ‘pre-season’ material today, I’m sure that accessing the video will be just fine. Thank you again for everything!

    Richard

  6. Martha Schrad Says:

Hey, videos are great… except I am at work and can’t listen to audio so that means no audio or videos at work. So I like workbooks that I can write down on my tablet between calls and clients. But I am excited about this program… guess I will have to forgo chores at home.

  7. Kelly Says:

    *nods* heading over, sir….

  8. david inglis Says:

I can see the video, but there is no sound to it.

I checked, and my sound is working on other things.

    Anyone got any ideas?

  9. Ulrich Weber Says:

i also can“t figure out how to add people in twitter

Ed is just natural communicator and so informative. However, for a frustrated guitar player I find it really hard to stop drooling over the Gibson Les Paul Gold Top in the background and I hope you are planning to bring a guitar or 2 to Stompernet Live in September. Anyway, 30dc is off and running and will undoubtedly be an amazing success. Even as an experienced marketer I have learnt several things just from the pre season info. Hey lads…………. and Lasses give yourself a pat on the back.

  11. Lee Wheeler Says:

    Ed:

This is a wonderful site but already the problem I’m having is with all the videos. There are at least 25 of them and on an average of 30 minutes per download, that’s fourteen-and-a-half hours and they haven’t yet been viewed.

That’s roughly three, 6 hour days. For you, video is easy, for many of us agony. How about a text to accompany each video which could be downloaded and printed. The video referred to if necessary.

If one lives in a city, high speed Internet is not a problem but in rural areas, and there are a lot of those in Canada, dial up rules supreme. Last year I had to drop out because of the amount of downloaded work that accompanied the program - please don’t do it to us again this year.

Haven’t tried it yet but skype and facebook could also present download problems.

    Please try to KISS it.

  12. Alok Limbachia Says:

i had the same problems when i tried to play the mp4 video using quicktime & another player VLC…. Managed to get it to work by opening it in internet explorer

  13. Tony O'Neill Says:

Can someone explain why I can’t join in on the forums. The admin as locked new signups.

  14. Wendy Portnuff Says:

I need teammates. Anyone else out there who still needs to become part of a team, or who has room for another newby on their team? Also, I can’t see the video today.

  15. Samir Bharadwaj Says:

    So far so great.
I’ve looked and listened to the Day1 training material, and you’ve got us off to a nice and gentle start. Looking forward to more.

  16. David Turner Says:

If you’re having trouble seeing the MP4 video, I was able to download the VLC Media Player (Thanks Alok) at http://www.download.com/VLC-Media-Player/3000-13632_4-10717934.html. Once installed, I was able to watch the video.

  19. Joseph Vieira Says:

I agree with Lee Wheeler about having a text accompany with video every time. This will reduce future problems.

  22. Jodie Sparke Says:

    Hey there,
Can any one help and explain why I can’t get/see this latest podcast (4) downloaded or updated on my itunes? I have automatically updated the 30DC podcasts from itunes but this one does not appear?
I can listen to it here fine, but I wanted to download to my ipod so I can listen to it at work.
Thanks - and good luck all!

  23. Ric Raftis Says:

Ed, I loved Lee’s post about it taking 1/2 hour to download a video because that’s why I’m writing. The first day’s training video took me 7 hours to download because I’m still stuck on dial up! Am I the only one in the challenge in such a situation?

Anyway, you stated in the podcast that it was mainly a restatement of what was in the video, which I found to be the case. Even the podcast took 3 hours to come down the pipe. So without being too much of a bother can you post on the blog or the training if there is an optional download and what’s critical. Ten hours of downloading means I can’t browse anything else as max speed is 36kps.

    Thanks mate,

    Ric

  24. Sandy du Plessis Says:

I am desperate for text information. Video is a no-go for me. I am on dial up and ZA phone billing is incredibly expensive + I can only download about 318 bits per second. I don’t want to drop out of the competition before I have even started.

In addition one of my team mates can’t get into the 30 day challenge site, even tho she has registered.

We need some support here please

  25. Mike Mindel - Thirty Day Challenger Says:

So What is a Niche Market Anyway?

In day 1 of the Thirty Day Challenge, Ed told us to go and brainstorm possible markets. Possible niche markets.
So what is this niche market thing anyway?

What a Niche Market Is Not
Any market you can paint with a broad brush:

    A large demographic gro…

  26. Beth White Says:

Yes, Text too PLEASE ! I too have slow dial-up and time is of the essence here to learn all we can and be successful online. Desperate to participate in this wonderful offer to learn and make $10 on the Internet !!!

  27. Craig Mullins Says:

I am having a really hard time getting videos to play in itunes and even finding them. I liked the mov format cause I could jsut watch the video in firefox instead of havign to use itunes.

I also wished the file names in the blog were named the same in itunes and teh time stamps matched. It would be much easier to find the corect videos…
