Neat! That’s an interesting statistic!

Although, I have to say, being Internet Marketers, the numbers are tad skewed, but still way cool.

Was just about to say that.. Webmaster sites have a clearcut advantage over every other type of site when it comes to Alexa rank. Still, thats an excellent rank.
You sure your server can handle the “Digg effect” + all the current pressure its under?
I can share some bandwidth if you want.

Simpson’s traffic is short term. Of course since Hollywood attached with it, it’s always going to have high traffic. But 30DC is just even starting.
August 3rd, 2007 at 12:42 pm
doh!
August 3rd, 2007 at 1:20 pm
excellent, smithers…

As the Chief Instigator of Team Spider Pig, I can’t help but think it’s all the people who are looking to join my crack team that’s causing the traffic crush.
Cheers,

welcome aboard Jamie. Start by going to http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com/members ( i suspect you already have)
read everything in the training + watch the videos and listen to the podcasts. then you’ll want to check out the other blogs like this one. and subscribe to the forum where you can interact with other members.
ps. great job on coming within reach of the Simpson’s. Unlike the 30dc they have 18 years of international marketing under their belts.
August 3rd, 2007 at 1:48 pm
Thats pretty good!
August 3rd, 2007 at 1:54 pm
This is amazing. Tied for the top– not bad at all.
August 3rd, 2007 at 2:11 pm
See this just goes to prove that Ed’s teaching skills are Excellent and his funny digression antics are just as popular as the Simpsons.
August 3rd, 2007 at 2:12 pm
It will be quite interesting to see how the digg community will react if everyone here diggs this post. I just Dugg it and noticed that everyone who has commented on it has been dugg down for their comment. Even if the Digg community that has been on the site for longer than the start of the T30DC doesn’t bury it will Kevin et. al. allow it to make most popular?
Maybe an interesting lesson in the making here.
August 3rd, 2007 at 2:20 pm
Heh yes we have problems with server and with diggers we are going to crash it anyway.
Next year we can expect topics on the digg like “30 day challenge mentions digg in his post huraaa!”

Does the main blog have a feed, or is it required that I check the website?
August 3rd, 2007 at 2:41 pm
Congratulations, this is fantastic, thinking of joining up and having a go.
I guess you guys must be raking it in big time now that everybody is using your Toolbar. Did you use conduit.com to set it up? Would be interested to know how many people are using it and what sort of figures you are making?
Congratulation again, will sign up and check out everything out.

We are not making anything out of the toolbar, believe me, even if everybody did use it and we got Google revenue, it would only cover a fraction of the bandwidth cost.

August 3rd, 2007 at 5:26 pm
Go Eddie, Go Eddie, Go Eddie, Go!!! As a happy challenger who loathes the complaining lot of bores who took issue with your style, you should sit grinning like a Cheshire cat when they get a look at your stats. Forge ahead, oh entertaining one! I’m lovin’ it!

Beating the Simpson in less than a month? This is crazy. If only the graph represent my website traffic, huh ….
I now feel like in the spaceship in the 1950s where everybody in the world is watching us.

I have been traveling and have had a horrible time getting on the internet. I am still very enthusiastic and will get caught up on Monday (hopefully). I have my seven ideas. I have been able to listen to the podcast –but yesterday came on a bit late so I have that to got through. I love this stuff
August 4th, 2007 at 10:06 am
I am amazed that with the amount of traffic coming in here, the site is still so fast!
August 5th, 2007 at 6:27 am
Stop lying the people here, you can’t compare yourself with the simpsons movies, very few people that have alexa installed visit that site, meanwhile this one is mostly full of webmasters, and most of them have alexa installed.
So stop snitching, stop lying and stop taking profits of innocent people.

HI,
Its Saturday afternoon, and playing catch up … listening (couple hours straight now) to all
the podcasts I have missed.
Only Just found this blog after listening to the podcast on how to create your own 30DC blog.
I have a wordpress blog that I am playing around with, and would like to know how I can get the
plugin called Wuranga Show YouTube. Searched on google and could only find this blog.
Cheers
