Hi Gang,
Dan here, and I can’t believe it has been nearly seven weeks. since the Thirty Day Challenge finished… truly spooky… Time flies soooo quickly.
But firstly I just really wanted to shoot out a quick email to let you know just how much of an impact you guys have had.
As you know, the Thirty Day Challenge’s official charity is Kiva, and you guys have done an amazing job helping us support this fantastic charity, in-fact, so far, we have managed to generate a truly awesome $27,825 in loans, which in my opinion is uber cool…
So thanks, I really do appreciate it.
Secondly, Ed and I have been working on some cool things for you guys, and in a few days time I am going to be shooting you an email with details on a great WordPress plugin we have for you. There are lots of ways to use this but we will explain that shortly… (sorry, sidetracked)
But what I really wanted to find out is…
How YOU are doing… and what YOU want to know, really, I want some feedback, … and some questions.
I know that there are loads of you right now taking part in the challenge, loads of you who have already completed the challenge, and of course a huge bunch of you who are just about to start the challenge… Sooo…
What we really want to do is hold a massive Q&A session, a chance for you guys to give us feedback, ask us questions, give us everything you have got. (sounds scary).
So, if you have questions, feedback, insults, praise, or anything in-between, then please, please, please,
shoot us an email at the following address and we will try our best to answer your questions.
The address is:
challenge@wuranga.com
Once we have the questions in, Ed and I will record a show and attempt at some answers.
Ok, guys and gals, I look forward to your response, and thanks for listening / reading me drone on.
Dan
My biggest challenge is staying focused and consistent. I work on things a couple days, then need to do other things, then by the time I get back to things it feels like I need to start all over. i also tend to get distracted by other marketing “gurus” and their product as I can’t seem to resist the promise of possibly making some quick money.
I feel like I have lots of pieces to a puzzle, but can’t seem to get the puzzle to look like anything because I am working on 4 different puzzles.
I wish there were something that a were basically “out of the box” or “off the shelf” that we can just begin to market and make a measly 1000 a month. 1000 thousand a month would actually be life changing for someone like me as i could then quit my part-time job and devote more focused time on learning and growing.
H,,,. I guess the above is not a question..is it….
As much as I would love to say, “out-of-box” is hard thing. It ain’t. What’s tough & quite essential to quit job is being consistently out-of-box, you know what I mean. What I would like to work on & I am actually working on is creation of system that would retain that stage of creation as ongoing process without fluctuations in bottom line.
I started the 30dc in Sept and have found the content exceptional. I do not have a product or a website to date although I am getting familiar with all the analytical tools reviewed.
I wish to clarify can you use template websites which come free with hosting for the 30dc or should you create (outsource) your own.
As I do not have the skills to build a website can you please provide advise as how to develop without spending a fortune.
I am looking forward to leaving my full time job and earning top dollar in my own internet business.
Congrats to Ed and the team.
Well done
Much of what is required takes consistent work and a passion for what you are doing.
Lucky for me the Wordpress stuff and web solution devlopmentis my job anyway, however, the thing that I would like to improve at is building backlinks to a website.
We have Traffic Bug and I have heard mentioned Unique Article Wizard and Article Marketing Automation plus of course there are tools in the Immediate Edge plus many more commercially available tools besides.
But which does what and in what context should you use them or should you just use them all to maximum benefit ?
My biggest challenge is watching the video’s.
With a broadband download speed of 7 KB/Sec (yes you read that right, it can take hours just to watch one short video. So in the end I just give up.
Hi boys & girls,
I think Dan would prefer the questions to go to the email address he put in the blog post rather than in the comments.
Just a thought
Jon.
Oh, just a little something I forgot to mention in my email:
it would be really nice if we could set when we’d like to start the 30DC exercise. This is because many of those who’re watching the pre-season videos first might feel fairly overwhelmed when they start getting all the 30DC exercises(which are all quite cool, mind you) at the same time.
The founder of the Association for the Abolition of the Aberrant Apostrophe recently died. I was wondering why you put one into the word wan’t? Been down the market buying apple’s and pear’s? So that’s my question.
I reckon my biggest challenge has been starting from scratch (what the heck is internet marketing?). I managed to learn every part of the 30DC up until day 6 now, considering it took me a month to do so (I really wanted and needed to learn). Yet there’s something I don’t get, it is how to manage a website. I mean, really manage it, and not just using tools like wordpress or wordpress direct; really know the works, the structure of a website, how to edit the pages, create new pages, softwares to use for that. That’s what I wish I could do, ’cause you guys made me love it. Maybe it will take me another couple of months to finish the challenge, at least now I have my first website and micro-niche online, and looking forward to make this my full-time … mmmmm … job? NO WAY! Full-time … bread and butter? Sounds better.
Fair Dinkum,
Fab
Dan,
I really needed the 30 Day Challenge when I found it…
My industry sector at my regular job was cost estimating commercial construction projects. This is the worst the market has been in years. Even when the market or the mainstream economy improves, there will be a recovery gap of months to years for my industry. I have been unemployed since the 16 of January of this year, went from 6 figures and great benefits to unemployment and burning up the little savings my family had. I have lost all faith in a “Job” and working for someone else. I had rather have my future in my own hands.
Sorry, this may sound like a sad song, it’s not. I just wanted to set the framework for what brought me to here. I started looking for income alternatives almost immediately, when I saw that there were few real job posting in my field.
For the first time in a very long time I have the hope and faith of success. I am still shaking off some of the despair and disgust that I have, but I can see a better future with the success and freedom that I have been looking for. Much thanks to you guys for stepping up, and guiding people to a real and workable answer, with the tools and strategies needed.
I hope to start fast-tracking soon so I can begin to grow a considerable income ASAP.
Thanks again for a wonderful product,
Dave Cape
