Thanks for pulling out the stops to get this out

    Cheers - Andy

  2. Ok this is weird. Is this posting hidden or something? It doesn’t show up on the maing page of the blog at all. You only see it as a link from the previous article.

  3. Hi Ed & Dan,

Just registered and signed in- this looks like fun! Looking forward to learn. Cheers.

  4. xd says:

It just shows up on Bloglines. But since we are all using it I think it will work it’s self out.

  5. yeah especially right now It saves from everyone super saturating the servers at once :) until everything is sorted out :)

  6. I’m just happy to be here :)

  7. HEY this is cool we’re waiting for the videos…

  8. david inglis says:

    Hey John V,

I found it easily through their toolbar. It lists everything nicely. All the posts, blogs, everything.
It really is a nice shortcut to get to everything that way.

  9. Annette Yen says:

    Yep, love the toolbar!

  10. Sam Hansen says:

    Awesome! Thanks guys!

  11. Bill Romer says:

OK, so Ed tricked me into this…for all you non-teamers out there, check out the Thirty Day Challenge Team-Haters Group on Facebook. Join me as we celebrate our individuality together!

  12. Bill,

I’ll see you in Facebook. Love it!

This whole thing so far has been a barrel of fun. (And I am actually learning something as well, go figure.)

  13. Bill, it took some finding, but I finally located your group. I am the second member to join after you. Let’s hope the other’s will find the group also. Thank you for setting it up. Julie

  14. Dan says:

This post (and other feed posts) are hidden from the main blog. I am using these to feed iTunes and all the smart people who are using an RSS reader. This way I will also minimize the load on the server until the new server is activated.

    Dan

  15. I was wondering where Day 3 Training was. Good thing I started playing with the tool bar.
    Go Team Tejas!!
    Richard

  16. Beth Agnew says:

Very clever, Dan, to feed to the folks who have followed the instructions so far. Found it easily through the toolbar (which is brilliant, btw, good job and thanks so much). I really, really appreciate what your whole team is doing. Much love! — Beth

  17. I cannot get any information on the 30 day challenge.
I cannot view any videos, or listen to the podcasts.
Is the toolbar messing my computer up?
I get an error message, that “internet explorer is not responding”
Can anyone out there help me with this problem?
    Thanks

  18. Bill Romer says:

Here’s a link to the “team-haters” Facebook group that may make it easier to find: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=4642630898

  19. NextInstinct says:

    Dan,

This did download automatically to itunes,
but Ed mentions “you’ll see that on the video…” in today’s podcast.
    Am I missing something else?

    Thanks mate.

    Ed

  20. John Vanderbeck says:

I think it just took things a bit to update. When we checked the toolbar it didn’t have this but no worries. I saw it trickling into iTunes anyway, so I should have it when I get home.

  21. richgrad says:

    It’s finally up!

  22. Thanks Ed and Dan,
I received the itunes of Day 3 podcast. I appreciate this time to go through everything again and make sure that I have everything. Facebook has been a challenge but with both video turtorials and alot of persistence I am conquering this software. I do at least now see how effective it will be in conjunction with everything else. Thanks so much, looking forward to Monday. I am going over freekeyword.wordtracker.com what a find:)

  23. Dearly Beloved:

Thank you so much for putting all these together. “Awesome” is one of the words to use!

It is so much easier when every step is followed one after the other as they are laid out.

    Once again, thanks!

    Remain blessed and a blessing.

    Regards,
    Olakunle Solomon Fatoye.

  24. Linwood Kemp says:

Problem with volume level! Anyone else having trouble? Ed’s level is much lower than the intro. I have both my virtual and physical volume controls cranked up to max, but when Ed talks quietly I cannot understand him at all!

(What I can hear is great. I just wish I could hear more of it!)

  25. Thank you Ed and Dan for all the trouble you have gone through for us, and I am sure I speak for us all.

    Feel the LOVE.

    Daniel

  26. Sylvia says:

Ed, love your accent. I could close my eyes and listen to you all day.
However, your voice is coming in a bit low on the podcasts. I have
my speakers turned up all the way, and I’m still having a hard time
    understanding everything you say.

The intro, and end of the podcasts are loud and clear, it’s just your
voice that tends to go low at times.

  27. Gary Gray says:

    Hi Ed

Gary here. I was able to copy this podcast onto my mp3 player and take it with me today. (getting away from the computer for a few hours eh)

Unique experience had I: I walked down to one of my favorite places. (the waterfront cafe outdoor patio) Sat down at a table with a patio umbrella and ordered a coffee. (beautiful 80F degree day or 20C) I got my coffee and turned on the podcast when an electrical storm came up.(talk about a dramatic effect) Chain lightning, rolling thunder and a downpour of rain. ( Ed I have never heard you sound so good) LOL Too bad I couldn’t have recorded it for you. Happy day three to everyone (or is it day four) LOL

    Smiles :o)

    Gary

  28. Good to see the podcast is up. I found it easily through the toolbar, but haven´t listened to it yet because I had to download the VLC player to see and hear the previous videos first! Then follow the instructions, of course. I finally have my 7 niche markets and am ready to listen to Day 3. I´ll finally be caught up, woohoo!

  29. Kelly says:

Ok…just listened. I wanted to point out (not to be a “glass is half full” sort of gal), that on THIS podcast I was unable to FF or RW…the only option was to start back at start…so I listened 3 times…hopefully, it soaked in! LOL Thanks, Ed and gang!

  30. Kelly says:

make that “glass is half empty” …LOL… I AM a “glass half full” sort!!! :P Ah! the challenge of multi-tasking!!!! :P

  31. Rich N. says:

There seems to be a problems I tried iTunes and direct downloads but it keeps coming up network down.

  32. This looks serious. Hope you guys are O.K. on your end. Very frustrating here in the U.S. It’s like getting a book that you have been dying to read only to have the pages glued together!

So, if this goes longer than thirty days (31 actually) due to tech issues, it will still be worth it. Right now I can’t access any of the day 3 training so forgive me teacher if I’m late on my assignments.

What can we do to help?

  33. [...] I (and the rest of the participants) thought it would be up. However, Ed was able to get out the Day 3 Podcast, and as of a hour or so ago, the Day 3 video on Using Wordtracker. I guess I will have my work cut [...]

  34. Donnie Vick says:

I can’t view anything from day 2 or 3. I viewed day 1, but it doesn’t open anymore. A new tab opens in Firefox and just says loading but never loads when I try to activate the video lessons. I’ve had no problems up till now. Any ideas what’s going on?

  35. Hi, anyone have the url to the “Official 30DC Notes Blog” ;) ?

  36. Earl Bloom says:

Hi Alan, I’m in Michigan and am having the same problems. I’ve tried all the usual ways to get the downloads, but to no avail. The Podcast worked for about 25% of the broadcast at 2 am (EST) and then shut down unexpectedly. The Videocast has never worked, nor will it download. I hope things get worked out asap, as I am really enjoying the content up to now (ie Days 1 & 2). Volume is also an issue for me as well. Still, based on all the incredible tools that have been set up so far, I am confident that all this is just minor growing pains that will pass. Ed / All - I just wanted to thank you for the efforts you are making - it is really appreciated!!!!

  37. Hi everyone, I am not getting anything through on podcast. It just continues to be looking as though it is downloading but does not end. I am also not seeing a listing for Day 3 under training. Only able so far to view Day 1.

  38. john fish says:

    Hi Ed -

I think I am about to sound like Mr. Bah, Humbug!; but here goes: (1) - I hope to stay reasonably close on the 30 day bit but, GOOD GRIEF, I am in the process of downloading the day 3 podcast and it looks like it is going to take about an hour and a half! The first 18% has taken 19 minutes. (2) - On day 2 I can hear your videos but not see them. How do I overcome that. (3) - When you talk about sources could you list them someplace so we will have them for future reference? (4) - What is the toolbar everyone is talking about?
    (5) - Here comes the real humbug - is it possible to do away with the chit-chat and just stick to the specifics?

    John Fish

  39. Joan says:

To all those moaning about the ‘growth pains’ of the 30-Day Challenge: “Take 2 aspirins, drink lots of water and get lots of sleep” - you’ll need it when the rest of us really get going. You have to be a pre-boomer to remember THAT expression. Joan

  40. Ric Raftis says:

    Hey Ed,

I’m still with you on dial up mate, but I thought I would let you know a couple of things. First of all, yes, there are still timed dial up connections. You’d never guess who of course….. Bigpond! (Satellite arriving Wednesday) Second thing is that I found with ITunes that I had the downloads set up to come down the pipe but if the dial up “dropped out” (common occurrence), or went over the 10 hour limit and reconnected, then ITunes was not resuming the download.

Solution: Use Free Download Manager for all the downloads. Simply set and forget and it will automatically queue you downloads and resume after broken connections.

    Keep up the great work.

    Ric

  41. Ed Noctor says:

    Hi Ed,& Dan,

Just finish my day 9 of training. Can’t beleive
your guy’s from Down Under, could put a (Brilliant Project) together of this magnitude.
Awesome! following the easy instruction, regarding the keyword phases. All I can say is keep it coming.

    Great Job There, Lads.

    Ed, from the Emerald Isle.
