I know I have been pretty low-key about my views on the iPad…

In all seriousness, I believe this is the most important leap in IT since the mouse.

So important, I’m flying to the USA to bring you my first impressions of this most amazing device.

And we will be live broadcasting the whole way with reviews, what makes this relevant to you an your online business and just the incredible craziness of flying all this way for a day.

Not to mention, watching a primo lesson in how to do market leadership and product creation.

Their are two ways you can participate

1. Follow along at http://www.paulsipad.com -This is where we will be doing our live streaming. I’ll be tweeting myself blind at http://twitter.com/Ed_Dale

2. ARE YOU IN LA AND AT A LOOSE END ON THE 3RD?

Come and join the festivities! - after we have collected the iPads we will be having a celebration lunch up in the valley (Like Way Cool!)

Now the tricky bit is that we don’t know what the line situation will be like. So time and location will need to be flexible.

We will be at the Sherman Oaks Apple Store sometime midmorning to get our iPads - so you might want to plan to be around there - we will eat / install iPad apps and in general gaze in awe/ somewhere in the district…

Ed

PS I hope you can separate my love of Apple from my dead serious belief that this device changes everything. Mark my words - this is the future of computing for the rest of us - the first computer that will not make the user feel stupid.

That is awesome, to be present at day 0 for that, unreal.

(Thanks Julie for the best birthday present ever!)

I am wondering about the iPad, you guys are all gaga over it, but I don’t see it that way, it actually offers nothing really new, it in fact is missing a thing or two, and as a concept, it has been around already, without much success. I guess you could argue it is the same thing as Mac vs. PC, and that iPad is en route to same fame……maybe, maybe.

Maybe if Paul last the whole 30 days, the will name a customer version of the iPad the iPaul…

… Hay, Apple has named things, much worse:)
