TOO COOL … thx TONS, Garrett !!!

  3. Sarah Harris says:

This is a great tool, but google won’t let me in because it is saying it is a virus or spyware. So if the bugs get worked out that will be a great tool.

  7. [...] Note – Garrett of Tech Bites made an awesome  search toolbar for us that will save time using google trends. Read the post and get the toolbar here http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com/blog/94/wordtracker-trends-tool/ [...]

  8. Trojan horse, eh? I wonder if that has anything to do with the new servers…

Well, I absolutely did not put one in there. So maybe disabling your anti-virus while you install it would take care of the problem. Sorry for those of you who are getting blocked, sounds very odd to me.

Thanks for the great comments guys! Very appreciated.

    Hi Garrett
Forget last message - must have been gremlins - all working perfectly now. Wrapped now !!!!
Thank you, thank you ! :))

  11. For those of you getting blocked by Google, it’s probably because you’ve completed too many searches in a given time period. You’ll just have to wait or use a different browser. It happens anytime you do serious keyword research in a short amount of time. Google thinks you’re an automated program and they shut you down. But it’s only temporary.

  12. [...] Garrett & PB’s tool have now been modified so that even if you’re outside the US they will to bring you the US search results. [...]

  13. Add my thanks to the hub-bub. I’ve finally been able to get to this, and it installed beautifully. I did not have a green arrow either, but when I clicked on the little black arrow, it worked just as you said it would. Awesome!

  14. Hi,
I am not able to install the toolbar.

    Can you please help?

    Thanks,
    Edward Santosh

  15. @Edward

Make sure you watch the video to see the install. It only installs one way.

If you have an error message though, let me know what it is.

  16. Wow, fantastic! Wouldn’t have figured it out w/o the video!
    Thanks!

  20. Marie Casas says:

OMG! Yeah, I had all these tabs open and gosh, I hoped there was a more efficient way to do the keyword research. A great help :) Thanks so much for this.

  21. I installed this yesterday and have had no problems. What an awesome time saver. Thank you!

  22. Rich N. says:

Ok I have tried the link in different browser and still only get the one line of text mentioned prior. Does anyone have it as download file that can be posted elsewhere.

  23. Kris Madison says:

    Hi Rich,

When you click the link, you get a white screen that says “Automagically does a split-screen comparison of google phrase search and google trends (against MYI)”. I get the same thing.

Go up to your Google search in the top right hand corner & click the small drop down arrow beside it, which brings down the menu of different searches. That’s where you’ll see “Add TDC Comp and Trend”. Click that & you’re done!

  24. Kelvin Scoon says:

    Dear Garrett,
I have not been able to install the toolbar.
The ADD TDC COMP AND TREND does not come up.

    Can you help?
