Day 31 - 2009 30DC

Monday, August 31st, 2009

The (last but not least) final Day 31 Training Content page is live.

Congratulations, you’ve made it. Over the past month you have had some brilliant training to get you started in your internet marketing journey. Today is all about thinking where you go from here.

Ed talks about the educational journey that you have been on over the last 30 days, the action that you have taken and the results that you have either achieved already, or about to achieve. Whether you made that first dollar or not, the fact that you are here is an incredible testament to your character and your desire to make a change.

Ed offers some simple advice. The single best thing you can do if you are serious in considering going forward and making this a second income stream, or even your new primary one is this, make it your practice. Set aside specific time that is regular to practice your craft. Continue your education, and continue to hone your skills.

Ed also introduces Thirty Day Challenge Plus, which was created with the intention of being the natural extension of the Thirty Day Challenge. Built and maintained using the same quality standards of the Thirty Day Challenge, Ed outlines the content and features of the Thirty Day Challenge Plus program, and details how it builds on from what you have experienced with the Thirty Day Challenge.

After completion of today’s lesson, you will have a greater understanding of how to move forward and what your options are, be it continuing to work with the Thirty Day Challenge training materials, joining Thirty Day Challenge Plus, or continuing your education elsewhere. As long as you keep the momentum going.

We all wish you well in your Internet Marketing journey and hope that you enjoyed and profited from your participation in this years 30DC.

Day 30 - 2009 30DC

Sunday, August 30th, 2009

The Day 30 Training Content page is live.

Today covers things to think about moving forward once the Thirty Day Challenge has finished. Your marketing education never finishes, and you should always be constantly learning in order to stay up to date and in the game.

Ed talks to you in detail about coming all the way from preseason, going all of the way through the Thirty Day Challenge itself, and finding yourself at the end wondering where to go from here. Using his Magnificent Symphony of Four Parts as a framework, Ed outlines all of the areas to look at for your next steps to take, including creating your own product and list building.

Jason Moffatt talks to you about leverage, and encourages you to think laterally about everything you have learned this month. Jason outlines how the skills you have learned in researching markets using Market Samurai, can be used as a tool for offering a service to businesses, both offline and online. If you think about what you have to offer to a business, keyword research, SEO research, online promotion, creating content, and creating back links, you’ll soon realise the value of what you have to offer.

After completing today’s lessons you will have a greater understanding of what steps to take following the Thirty Day Challenge. You will understand how to prioritize what areas you need to work on, and what you need to educate yourself about more. You will also understand the leverage you now have using the skills you have learned in the past 30 days.

Only 1 day to go!

Day 29 - 2009 30DC

Saturday, August 29th, 2009

The Day 29 Training Content page is available.

Today is all about best practice, and where marketers go wrong and make mistakes. You can learn from the mistakes of both the marketers who have come before you, and from the mistakes you’ve made yourself.

Ed covers a wide range of topics of mistakes that marketers make in today’s podcast, including simply not understanding the marketplace they are in, not doing the right research, and not following a tried, tested and proven step by step process.

Other areas Ed outlines as mistakes marketers make, is tackling markets above your skill level, getting tunnel vision, a lack of patience waiting for a process to work, and taking failure personally.

After completing today’s lesson you will have a greater understanding of where marketers go wrong, and the mistakes that are made as a result. There is a lot to learn when developing your skills, and being aware of, and learning from the mistakes of others, will help develop your own awareness of best practice.

We have a final Mindset Lesson With Karl today. Karl talks to you about your overall journey in participating in the Thirty Day Challenge, and where it fits in your overall journey at this point in your life.

Don’t forget the next 30DC TV show on Sunday night at 8.30 pm (EST).

Day 28 - 2009 30DC

Friday, August 28th, 2009

The Day 28 Training Content page is live.

Following on from yesterday’s lessons on creating back links, today takes that a step further. Not all back links are created equal, and today’s lesson is about high authority back links.

Anthony outlines what makes an authortiy back link, and details the three main options for obtaining them, the DMOZ Directory, the Yahoo Directory, and .edu and .gov domains.

Anthony explains each of the authority back link sources in turn, with the pros and cons of using each outlined clearly.

Anthony also demonstrates how to use Market Samurai’s Promotion module to search for sources of authority back links. Anthony explains the process to follow in order to identify the sources of authority back links, including how to ensure that you use appropriate keywords within your niche that will produce, and the importance leaving appropriate comments.

After completing today’s lessons will have a greater understanding of what constitutes an ‘authority back link’, and you will also know how to use Market Samurai’s Promotion module to search for sources of authority back links. You will have also used the Promotion module to research appropriate authority back link sites, created a few high quality comments for those sites, and submitted them.
