TwitterTastic

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

I just wanted to remind everyone that they really should be signing up for Twitter. It’s a great way for your to stay in touch with your teams… and… you get to see what Ed and I talk about all day long…

Twitter is here
My profile (add me)
Ed’s profile (add him if you really must) :)

Twitter isn’t just a web based thing, there are many great desktop applications available so you can instantly see new messages from your friends.

(oh yes, before I forget… we might very well be using Twitter as part of the Thirty Day Challenge process, so getting up to speed and familiar would help)

Access To The Training…

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

Well it’s 23:38 in the UK and that makes the challenge approx 14 hours away, but I did want to remind everyone that to access the challenge content you will need to sign up to the main site here:

http://www.ThirtyDayChallenge.com/members/

This will also allow you to post on the forums and access any extra stuff that Ed and I put out as part of the challenge. So if you haven’t done it yet head on over there now.

The Challenge Is Nearly Live… Tell Your Friends

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

With just over 24 hours before the challenge starts now is the time to get your friends into the action. If you know someone who would benefit being part of the challenge, or you just want to explain to someone what it is you will be doing this month then send them to http://www.ThirtyDayChallenge.com/ and get them to sign up. They will receive an email explaining how to view the blog and forums… and don’t worry, we will never send them any junk mail (well, they might have to put up with Ed wittering on lol )

One Day To Go… And Some More Goodies Coming

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

Well, only one day to go before the challenge starts and I just wanted to tell you about some extra goodies that will be available for you tomorrow morning.

Thirty Day Challenge Blogs

Some of you have already discovered these, but they officially go live tomorrow with a whole range of themes and plugins for you to use. If you want to document your challenge right here on the site then you will be able to set up your own blog and keep us and your team updated.

Thirty Day Challenge Toolbar

This year we have built our own toolbar which you can install in either FireFox or Internet Explorer (shame on you). The toolbar has links to all the sites and software we use as well as link to all the sections of the Thirty Day Challenge site. Using the toolbar you can also instantly see if any new blog posts and training material is available, and also receive extra messages from Ed and myself. The cool thing about the toolbar is, as soon as we add new tools, they will instantly appear on your toolbar without you having to do any updates.

Ok that’s it, I have lots to get done today before the challenge starts, and if you haven’t gone through all the pre-season training yet, then today is the day to catch up.

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

You will start to see why facebook has really taken off and you will start to see why it will be the youtube of 2007

UPDATE - Sorry gang - we have a super cool new delivery system for iTunes - BUT I stuffed up on this post. I will get it right and I’ll show you how amazing this stuff looks on a Video iPo, On an iPhone, well lets just say I get a little weepy with pure joy.

And as always for your iTunes viewing

Ed

PS In the next few hours we will be doing a catch up post for all the people who have just joined us. Welcome!

We All Need To Talk…

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

Team communication is going to be a very important part of this challenge.

Apart from Blogs and Twitter ( I have a very juicy Twitter session coming up - Twitter is going to have a major impact in Internet Marketing) this video shows you the tools I use to communicate with my homies ( AKA Work Mates - There is nothing sadder than an aging short fat bald man trying to talk street!)

And here is the version for your iTunes

BTW speaking of iTunes - we errr -stuffed up - if you go into iTunes now you should see a bunch of new videos to download - PLUS from now on they will all download on to yout iPod/iPhone/AppleTv - I was watching the videos on my plasma screen via Aplle TV and it was just brilliant.
