Twitter isn’t just a web based thing, there are many great desktop applications available so you can instantly see new messages from your friends.

(oh yes, before I forget… we might very well be using Twitter as part of the Thirty Day Challenge process, so getting up to speed and familiar would help)

With just over 24 hours before the challenge starts now is the time to get your friends into the action. If you know someone who would benefit being part of the challenge, or you just want to explain to someone what it is you will be doing this month then send them to http://www.ThirtyDayChallenge.com/ and get them to sign up. They will receive an email explaining how to view the blog and forums… and don’t worry, we will never send them any junk mail (well, they might have to put up with Ed wittering on lol )

Well, only one day to go before the challenge starts and I just wanted to tell you about some extra goodies that will be available for you tomorrow morning.

Thirty Day Challenge Blogs

Some of you have already discovered these, but they officially go live tomorrow with a whole range of themes and plugins for you to use. If you want to document your challenge right here on the site then you will be able to set up your own blog and keep us and your team updated.

Thirty Day Challenge Toolbar

This year we have built our own toolbar which you can install in either FireFox or Internet Explorer (shame on you). The toolbar has links to all the sites and software we use as well as link to all the sections of the Thirty Day Challenge site. Using the toolbar you can also instantly see if any new blog posts and training material is available, and also receive extra messages from Ed and myself. The cool thing about the toolbar is, as soon as we add new tools, they will instantly appear on your toolbar without you having to do any updates.

Ok that’s it, I have lots to get done today before the challenge starts, and if you haven’t gone through all the pre-season training yet, then today is the day to catch up.

In the past two years of the challenge. I have steered away from giving to much theory. The majority of us thirty day challengers are beginners and I don’t want to confuse you.

This year we are trying something different. I am going to give you some theory (in a non-confusing way I hope) and then show you the action steps.

This is my first attempt at that - showing you why we are getting you to set up your browsers, download iTunes and join Facebook.

I want to introduce a rterm your going to hear again and again through the challenge (and it’s the true secret of Marketing Web 2.0 style)
