People go to software directories to seek genuinely useful software which might be worth downloading only to find they've been stuffed full of near identical files automatically generated by internet marketers? That's not going to improve the user experience one little bit is it.
Well there may just be a little more to it, but that would be very unusual to get *more* than what's advertised wouldn't it. So I think it stinks. Don't be a party to it.
Is that objective enough?
