Yes - 5 minutes, and no editing facility. These are standard limitations to Jing.

They can't give away everything for free - they have to give people a reason to buy Camtasia

For Mac-dreamers, check out Apple Store (U.S.) - Welcome to the Apple Store - you can generally pick up refurbished Mac's in there cheap.

Apparently the secret with buying Mac's is to get one that has all the features that you want... but a low amount of RAM... RAM is fairly cheap and easy to install - and it seems to be a high-margin item in Macbooks etc.

Re: Cadillacs and Macs... Your standard MacBook will do MOST of the things that a MacBook Pro will do - the really high-end video editing stuff is probably the major difference.
