Aweber seems to be an 'oldy but a goodie'.

I have friends who went to GetResponse because of the strict double opt-in feature now on Aweber (well has been for about 9 months).

I contemplated shifting as well - but it was such a momumental task and there's a risk you lose people.

And at the end of the day - double opt-in simply removes tyre kickers - people who are not a serious prospect. As I did not notice any reduction in sales.

I think Aweber have great customer support too.

So all in all, I kinda like Aweber.

And even though when I first went to double opt-in it screwed with my customer list automation & I b-tched & moaned. It forced me to be a better marketer - and offer an appealing benefit to customers to actually verify themselves as such.
