Wikipedia is usually in the top of most search terms in my experience. It is considered and authority site, has millions of links pointed to it, and is copied or cloned via other sources.
The true Wikipedia is open source and not a place to spam. Editors are all over it and spaming wiki can cause you some problems.
Links comming from Wiki are "no-follow" but they still seem to give weight to a website that is mentioned in Wiki.
