I know what you mean about being scared almost when you do changes to WP!
Anyway from what you said in your reply I think I am right in thinking that the content (which is ALL i am worried about) is backed up as I thought in the Dbase.
If that is so i will just start again with a fresh install of wp and restore the dbase
That should be a soultion I hope shouldn't it?
