I work as lecturer in a tertiary institution. It is part of our role to do research. By far the most popular tool among academics is Endnote (
www.endonte.com). However, it is not free and is not web based.
So, looking for a good and free alternative to Endnote, I came across with an extension for Firefox called Zotero. To some extent, Zotero is similar to Google Notebook. However, it has far more features and includes a long list of citation styles. These styles are very useful at the moment of creating your own product (book)
