I love onenote for note taking. I am testdriving Google notebook for the 30DC, but I have been using onenote for over 1-2 years now - and it simply is my favorite piece of software ever. In fact it's microsofts redeeming feature leaving Mac and others in its dust. A lot of people have it available through their office package but don't even know about it. Not only can it search through images and convert handwriting, you can paste audio and video as well. It has loads of tags ...It works as easy as paper but is so much better to organize. It beats all the other notetaking apps hands down, no competition.
And the fun thing about it is that there is integration with outlook and mindjet mindmanager - which is the leading mindmapping tool out there. (There's also a clipping plugin for firefox (prob works with flock too))
