I'm writing for my audience, so anything I can do to make it more appealing for them is better for me. I can appreciate your perspective and if it works for you, that's fantastic and I'm not being sarcastic here... that's genuine.
But copywriting skills will make any blogger much more interesting and help them sell more product. The content as well as how it's delivered needs to pull in peoples attention. It's for my readers, not for me.
It seems that there are two "camps" concerning writing. (1) Those that say 'Just be yourself'. (2) Those that use some form of writing technique.
You and I seem to be in separate camps.
