Default Ads in Themes

Regretfully, you don't get to pick which ads Google places on your site. You can only make sure your adsense code is there so you get credit; Google picks the ads based on the keywords they find on your site.

I found a great theme for my personal blog, where I was not going to advertise -- but if you try to turn the adsense off, the theme breaks (Boo!!) So I made the ads as small as possible, and learned to live with it. Google puts some of the strangest ads on there (since it's not optimized for anything). If only we could tell Google the types of ads we want!
