I've heard/read of people getting into IM and making more money in their own business then at their old jobs in less then 6 months..and a few rare times in less then 3 months.

I know for a fact that if I could get my business to the point to where I was making more money then what I was making at my old job and do it in about 3 months, or even 6 months, that I'd be soooo happy...because that would equate to making more then $3500 per month, which for me right now would be more then enough for me to sustain a pretty good lifestyle.

However, I would suggest instead of looking to others to see how they've done it, ask yourself "how can I do it?" and then break everything down into its simplest form, for instance:

Goal (Year): $200,000 per year
Goal (Monthly): $16,600+
Goal (Daily): $553+/-

So, if you know you need to make over $550 dollars per day and at the moment you're just promoting affiliate products, and assuming you're making at least $25 per sale, then you need about 22 sales per day...if you're only selling just one aff product. If you can convert the traffic to your site/blog at a decent rate of say 1 in 50, then you need roughly 880 views to your site per day for a minimum of 30-days.

NOTE 1: Of course, if you're converting traffic at a higher rate, say 1 in 100, then of course you're going to need more traffic, at least for the time being until maybe a better sales page can be written, or more thorough keyword research can be done to ensure you're getting 'buyers' and not 'lookers' coming to your site/blog.

These numbers may sound incredibly hard to obtain or even fathom, but realize that by following what's being taught here in the TDC, not only are you going to make money, but you're also going to realize how to take what you've learned in one 'niche market' and apply it to any other niche you may want to get into.

I think the key is to not look at the end goal of making $200K per year, but what you need to do each day, week and month leading up to the end of the year because by doing that, the chances of you reaching your ultimate goal should be easier to obtain then by merely focusing on what is at the end of the journey.
