Slowsmart is correct. It's pretty well the standard "warning" you will see with absolutely anything you do within Facebook. It doesn't pull your friends into anything or have any effect whatsoever on them. There are some Facebook apps that compare and contrast things among friends, though, so that is included in the warning. Facebook really should have individual disclaimers for each app, so you know exactly what it will and won't do, but they don't.
