Default For anyone confused by WordPressDirect and Wordpress

So briefly, I've spent 5 days trying to get through day 7 because of confusion about WordPress and WordPressDirect. It all started when Market Samurai couldn't link to my website. Search under my name to read that whole thread.

PURPOSE OF THIS POST IS TO SHARE THE FINAL ANSWERS THAT I NEEDED:

1. WPD and WP are two different entities
2. Your WPDirect.com username is always your email address and you choose it.
3.You manage your website via the username and email address in #2.
4. to link an ad from Market Samurai you need to use the user name of admin and the password that goes with it. (I still don't know how this password got set up originally, so someone else will have to add that info.)
5. MarketSamurai integrates with BOTH WPDirect and WP - for the purpose of this challenge: USE WPDirect, and the username should be the one you use to access WPDirect.

Regarding the difference between the two, from WPD/help:Let me try to explain the difference between the two. Wordpress is a free, PHP-driven blogging platform that is available to anyone for free (except for the cost of hosting if you want your own domain). WordpressDirect is a software program that automates your Wordpress accounts so you dont have to spend hours setting up and maintaining them. Instead you can control them all from one interface at wpdirect.com. It's really that simple.

Another way to think about it is that WordpressDirect is like an automated robot that drives the underlying Wordpress blog, so you dont have to manually install your site, your plugins, and write all of your own content. It does a lot of the heavy lifting for you, saves you a lot of time, and eliminates the need for technical understanding of how Wordpress works.

I hope this is helpful for someone!
