Ecommerce for wordpress

Hello,

I am looking to startup an ecommerce website for the thirty day challenge. Does ecommerce work well with wordpress? Id appreciate any help that you guys can give.

My experience is that it does work well.... but I'm going to do it anyway, because I like the SEO opt that wordpressdirect does.

So I'm going to slap together a site. Starting with thumbnails linking to full page with pay pal. which almost works Go to general chat and look under 8Seconds posts.... been look at that very issue for 2 days and wrote how I got around the 2.5 wordpress stuff

There is a free Wordpress theme that integrates ecommerce really well if you are hosting your own site.

It uses the Crafty Cart ecommerce plugin to get your products integrated into your blog.

I finally figured out how to install the WP eCommerce Plugin into my blogsite on the "Store" page. But I don't know how to get product in there now! Am I going to have to buy other plugins or something in order to make it work? Or is it supposed to be a stand-alone thing?
