I like to use Xinu Returns - SEO Site Statistics Tool - Check PageRank, Backlinks, Indexed Pages, Rankings and moreto check my web sites. It's free and gives me lots of info such as page rank, backlinks, indexed pages, rankings and has a link at the bottom of the page that will estimate your sites worth.The more tools you have the better you can make decisions. Bob.

The likely issue is that the search engines haven't stumbled across the pages where you're getting backlinks from yet. Brent |

It says I have 200 and lists PR etc for each link, but no social bookmarking in there, only sites I have commented on, or other people have linked to it. Very interesting tool tho. Thanks for posting.

[QUOTE=kiwigal;63983]Hi there,
I use this tool for backlink checking it seems quite thorough. LINK DELETED BY MOD Can somebody check this link. I clicked on it the other day and a trojan was installed on my computer. This is causing a lot of problems with my computer than I can't seem to fix. Many websites are now unable to connect to and I can't update my virus software protection. I also can't update my spybot or ad-aware or can I download other programs to scan my computer and get rid of this trojan. Has anybody else had this problem? If so, how can I fix it?

It can be tricky once you are infected. I don't know this one exactly but here is a way that would work.
You need to get a clean start from a CD or perhaps from another hard drive with your Windows and make sure the machine starts from this drive. It should have the latest ammunition against your problems installed. The infected drive should sit there as a slave on the same channel. Then scan all devices. If it is a laptop it is even more tricky since it is not that easy to manipulate with the hard disks. Another way is to backup what you need. Don't forget your bookmarks etc. Then reinstall and wipe the disk clean by partitioning it and formatting. When that is done and you installed the os and the antivirus program, start your antivirus program etc and connect the backup device and wipe it clean. It is a lot of work. I know. A friend of mine got this problem from a popular file sharing place ... Took me two days ... Best of luck. Rolf The Finn
