Post Advanced Link Building - Take it up a notch

Hey everyone I have been very busy with my new internet marketing business but I wanted to share some awesome advice on building new backlinks and how you can really use it to your advantage to start going after more competitive phrases.

I had a client and he was in the medical field. but their was not alot of great places to start putting links and I don't know about you but I hate doing blog commenting lol. So here is what I did and to my surprise it is working alot better than I could ever imagine.

I was going to get him 17 websites on the first page of Google.

I pretty much created my own empire of websites and blogs around the niche this doctor was in. I would buy up some older domains with some good PR then use Wordpress direct to put all the auto posting software on the sites. related keywords so the backlinks are valued more.

We also bought several different domains to put additional sites on.

I would then create additional blogs on Word Press Multi User(WPMU) Sites. If your not sure then look it up.

I would also create accounts on several differnt Pligg websites. Google it. ( There sites that allow you to add news storys about a website. Its like digg and all those.)

Yes I still made blogs on the usual sites and its still a great Idea

Blogger
Tumblr
Squidoo
Weebly
Wordpress
vox
live journal
soho
etc......

I even made twitter accounts for each website and made the profile keyword optimized to get more back links. Micro blogging is a great way to boost PR. (There are hundreds of Micro Blogging websites out there.)

I then would bookmark all the sites and posts, ping them, and create additional links to these sites.

I would then randomly link all my blogs and websites to each other and to different pages. Creating a very powerful link ring around your main site. giving it tons of link juice.

after that I would put all the links with the keyword of course in the Blogroll of all the sites. To my surprise it seems that everytime there is a new blog post or page added to these sites it counts as a backlink. So as soon as google started crawling all my sites I noticed the loads of backlinks that I was getting and how much google was loving it. Brand new websites already have a PR 2.

This is a way more advanced way of building links and it can be very powerful.

I might have to create a mini course on doing this lol

Leave your input

Nice post.

This strategy is called Blog Farming and you're right, it is very powerful. Pretty much required procedure to rank for highly competitive keywords. I've been getting very good results with it.

Be cognizant of hosting. You want the sites spread around on different IP's.

Next step is to automate it!

You don't necessarily need to have separate hosting if you are using the multi user wordpress blog sites, since it's already hosted by someone else. Only if you are building your own blogs on their own domains and subdomains do you need multiple hosting accounts.

I semi automate my other link building using a piece of softare called seo link dominator.

i dont want to use pure automation tools with no control over what I create and when, so this suits me a lot better so i have complete control over what i do and when I do it.

Not been down the outsourcing route though a lot of people have had some good success but only when they have the right outsourcer..

I thought Google was clamping down and sandboxing this sort of linking... And that these 'Link Wheels' or 'Link Farms' were only good for a short period of time.

Thumbs up Word Up!

if you spam this type of link building then yes google will frown upon you but if you do it right it is very powerful.

I do automate some but I actually do most of it by hand or outsource it because I keep adding content to all the blogs. The blogs are worthless if they have no content.

also if you post to multiple places maybe a tweet or a blog post about your site or another site and google sees that its appearing in multiple places google likes that alot from what I see.

Don't be lazy and build a bunch of dead blogs and link to your page because it may work for a little while but its worthless in the long run.

Add great content and do a good job and you will see results.

Just want to say I now have had close to 100 sites on the first page for over 2 months straight and they are only getting better
