If anyone else has problems with a credit card from Slovenia and PayPal, this should clear a few things:
1. If CVC code is not on the back of the card, you can find it on your monthly bank report or access it trough internet banking. 2. Some credit cards in Slovenia don't support PayPal at all or they support only one way transactions (meaning you can shop, but can't get paid via PayPal). Check documentation at your bank for your credit card as this is different from bank to bank. 3. If your card does not support PayPal, you still have a few options, but I think the easiest one is to simply get a new credit card, that fully supports PayPal. One option is to get "Debetna kartica Visa Electron". I got it from ABanka. There are other offers from different banks (I think banka Koper has one), but make sure their card supports both-way transactions via PayPal (as some banks do not!). This is not a credit card, but works for online payments. It also has no membership costs and no required regular income, making it perfect for students or those that wish to have a separate account for on-line transfers. I hope this helps someone. ![]() Leon |
