We don't recommend Adsense in the 30DC except as a final option if your affiliate product isn't selling and you want to move on from that blog.
The reason is that there are usually much more profitable ways to make money from the traffic coming to your site than adsense. It can work, especially if you have a niche that has a high clickthrough cost, but in most cases these are also the most competitive niches. I would suggest finding other options for monetizing that adsense - which is what the 30DC will help you with. Lisa

The key to adsense is to find keywords with a high cost per click. The more advertisers are paying the more u will make per click. Use the google keyword tool to find keywords.
Think of high ticket items like insurance, lawyers, cars, etc. Then u just set up a blog or site for those keywords and promote it till you get more traffic and more clicks. |
