If you are creating hundreds or thousands of backlinks for a new blog in a short time from RSS, is there a risk of being sent to Google hell? I've heard that getting too many backlinks too quickly from limited sources can be deemed "unnatural" and damage your ranking.

How much value does this kind of backlink have in relation to other, more natural types? Does the sheer volume make up for the "cheapness" or is there a point of diminishing returns?

Brilliant stuff dean.i have 1 question.say my feed is - www.website.com/category/keyword+keyword. Do i have to put + in between each word or can i just post it without spaces.the validation tool tells me both or working feeds.
When i found my keywords on google keyword tool there was a lot of words that isn't on my site.can i use these words are will i get slapped for it ?

Where do you find RSS directories to submit to?
I found 100s, but which ones are any good? Is there a list of top 10 rss dirs, or something similar?
