My sound cut out during the live episode of TDC, but Ed asked to have Hotspot Shield posted on the forum.
To be honest I have no idea what Hotspot Shield is for, but here's the link per Ed's request: AnchorFree If someone can post what this is used for that'll be great. Shannon

Anchorfree.com is down so there might be some problems using HotSpot Shield for while. They probably trying to fix the problem...who knows.

Just a quick note - HotSpotShield and similar services are specifically valuable for users in non-english speaking countries.
The reason they work is because Google will generally redirect queries from non-english speaking countries to non-english versions of Google - and Market Samurai only understands English. This causes Market Samurai to get confused, and not return results. HotSpotShield routes your data via computers in English-speaking countries, getting around this issue. However, the Samurai team is already working on a solution for users outside of english-speaking countries... This will mean users won't need to worry about services like HotSpotShield for much longer. Brent |

Market Samurai KEYWORD research features don't work ... even with HotSpot shield active (> disconnected, IP not set) ![]() ... but SEO competition feature and Content finder work perfectly ![]() Has anybody observed similar reactions and found a solution? "VPN IP Not Set" is one of Hot Spot Shields' standard error messages. I don't know how to solve this myself, but I noticed that there were some answers online when I Googled it.
I hope one of them helps you out. Brent |

Oh! I thought this message displayed in the browser was indicating, that shielding was active then! Isn't that so? Is this an error message or simply the system working properly? Could maybe some European using HotspotShield get in touch with me? Thanks Seb (Skype: wschiansky) |
