Default Market Samurai - Workaround

Hi Gang!

I had issues with SEOC not being shown in Market samurai and I found this work around - works 70% of the time.

1) once you generate the keyword (with the # of searches) - export to excel
2) Delete all the ridiculously high Million #s and < 80s.
3) Take this list go to keyword tab - dont generate this time, but copy and paste these list of keywords and "Analyse"
4) you might be lucky or u might not
5) Once MS fill SEOC for some in the list , you can keep clicking "Analyze Keywords" multiple time and eventually you will have a list full of #s

Tip : Use Filter to set the max and min values as appropriate, so you can tell MS not to stress too much on something not so important

Good luck!

Default Market Samurai Work Around

Yes, that works pretty well. The important thing is to keep the number of keywords low.

Then at some point it's just faster and easier to get the info manually.

I'm also finding it easier to do the initial keyword research in the Google Keyword tool...looking for searches of around 6000+ (which closely approximates a daily SEOT of 80). Then I add that list into MS.

And when I have a list of useable keywords, I always, always, always confirm those numbers manually. By that time the list is relatively small so it's not too time consuming and it saves you from the occasional glitch in MS.

Good idea. But I don't think you need to delete the <80's. As long as the filter is applied, MS shouldn't try to retrieve the SEOC numbers for those terms. But I suppose as long as you have all the data in excel, it's no effort to do that.

What I would LOVE to see is a delete button on the Keyword Research screen. In case a few get through the initial screening.

Brent what would be a nice addition to MS is a way to mark multiple keywords in the suggestion area and do a "delete all selected" rather than line by line deletion

Do all of these keywords have a common theme? (i.e. do they all contain a common word?)

If so, type this word (or multiple words) into the "negative keywords" box (one per line), and hit the "Update" button below.

Market Samurai will search for these keywords and delete any keyword that contains those word(s).

Does this help?
