Upload of my profile picture failed

Why always when I upload my profile picture failed although it meets the size in kilobytes and pixels?

Please advise.

What are you trying to post it on?

Is it saved as a JPEG file?

I'm trying to post it on my CP (control panel), Settings & Options, Edit Profile Picture.

Yes, it is saved in jpg format.

But also it fails when I link my picture file (also jpg format) - which is on another site.

Your picture is in your profile, or are you trying to change it for another one?
