This is BS.
First of all I enrolled with my work email. Then I got tired of having non work stuff in that box so I opted out of the Email list. Now they have started sending me BS email from Dan at danraines. com. I dont want to receive emails in this box!! Leave me alone!!.

Unsubscribe using the information at the bottom of the email, that will stop emails from Dan's list that you appear to also have signed up to.

Allison is spot on. These lists have double opt-ins. Many that even if someone else (or the fairies) put your name in on your behalf. You then receive an email asking you to confirm that subscription. And unless you click on the link and choose the 'yes' option you can not receive emails.
