Hi! Is anyone else experiencing problems logging into their gmail/google alerts etc on flock? I enter my login/username, hit sign in, and it just empties the fields again. I use safari and there is no problem. Same username same password. Can't figure out why this is happening.
Could someone give some insight? ![]() |

Linnea...i've tried that a few times and still nothing happens. Hope someone else can offer some other suggestions. I just can't log in which means I can't do the google alerts/ subscribe to rss feeds of day's 1 lessons. And I don't want to be shifting from flock to safari and back and forth.
Someone, please! |

Yes, I've encountered this problem...
let's say you're sitting at your Google Reader and you want to click over to your GMail account... Or maybe you're already in GMail and you try to respond to an email and get a error #103 message... Well, that's what was happening to me. Here's how I solved it... Look closely at your URL when you're encountering the problem. If it says http:// - simpy try revising it to https:// to make it a secure connection. Don't ask me why as I don't know, but it worked for me.

thing is I don't get ANY error messages or anything. I just hit sign in, the page refreshes, but I don't get signed in. I have two gmail accounts. And for some reason, the googlereader of account2 is signed in and I can't sign out of it! I hit sign out, refreshes, but I am still signed in. I have posted here, in the googlehelpdesk through safari (because you have to log in to your account to be able to post a question), in my team, but nobody seems to be able to help. There HAS to be an explanation/solution... Stuck! |

I'm not sure if this is going to help, but have you tried clearing your cookies?
Failing that, you could try starting Flock in safe mode and see if that helps: Flock Browser - FAQs | Flock Not sure this will work but has helped solve FireFox problems for me in the past (Flock is built on FireFox) Hope this helps, - Paul |

You will get quirks running multiple Gmail accounts.
I presently have 4 Gmail accounts running using a FF add on called Gmail Manager 0.5.5 You can see what emails you have in all accounts but you can only be logged into one at a time for the purpose of sending mail, Google Reader etc. Definitely use Tools | Clear Private Data and reboot if needed. When I had XP, (Oh wonderful days...), a program called CCleaner used to work wonders keeping the system fresh. Google it, it's free. Doubt it'll work on Vista - nothing else does ![]() Ade |

Hi-don't know if this will help but I uninstalled Flock then reinstalled it. I have Vista which is a pain.
I logged in as the admin in vista then set up flock settings. Don't know if that was the fix but it worked for me. Tina Twitter / bestreflections Tina Williams - FriendFeed |

Bear in mind that if you clear all of your cookie you'll have to re-login to all sites that you've ticked 'Remember Me' for!
Clearing cookies: 1) Flock Menu -> Preferences 2) Privacy Tab at the top 3) Click 'Show Cookies' button 4) You can search for specific cookies using Search: at the top of the window that opens, highlight a cookie and click "Remove Cookies" To remove all of them click "Remove All Cookies" (see my note above!) You'll want to probably remove all of the google related ones. Hope this helps, - Paul
