Smile Ranking question

I've built my site on competitive phrase "earn at home" according to Market Samurai it was much less competitive then "home business" or "work at home"
so I do not expect to be on the first page, for me third would do the job I think.
Now my site is 87 on phrase match - if you enter "earn at home" On the broad search ...earn at home... I do not know where is it any chances to get it upper on broad search?

"earn at home" has some 76 400 competing pages and broad match has 2 200 000 competing pages. This is way too competitive for the 30 Day Challenge.
This phrase is in the Market area whereas you need to be focusing in the micro-niche area (less than 30 000 pages) refer to my diagram below.

You will have better success by being a BIG FISH in a small pond rather being small fish in a BIG POND.

sorry if image is not appearing here is the link Keyword Competition Hierachy on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

If I were you I'd
a] look for another micro niche to develop,
b] Drill down for some less competitive long tail keywords in this market if you are really attached to it, or
c] Expect this project to take a long time to get the results you want

Personally I would go with option A.

Running the SEO Competition analysis for "earn at home", it looks like a reasonably tough market with a lot of sites with a lot of domain backlinks (BLD), and reasonably high PageRanks.
