Can't find affiliate products for my keyword search in Amazon

My post on this on the 26th disappeared. someone very kindly gave me an older thread on it in the forum that had a lot answers to all this. I didn't have time then, so I bookmarked it. I came back, and the book mark won't work, and my thread is gone.

Basically, when I do an affiliate search for material on my keywords, in Amazon and clickbank, I'm getting no results. If I modify my keyword a little, then I can bring up a few things. Does this mean my keyword will not sell?

If you try the search function first before posting chances
