TechFreak - I owe you an apology for my first reply to your original question. I assumed too much.

![]() Glad to hear, that phrase match wll be included ![]() Still waiting for some rather experienced people to answer my philosophical question, as I simply cannot move further I am sure, veterans have already come accross such situation. Let's illustrate:Keyword1: SEOT for Broad: 100, Phrase: 100, Exact: 100 Keyword2: SEOT for Broad: 10,000, Phrase: 1,000, Exact: 100 So, which one is better to take, if we do not consider SEO comp. at this moment? Techfreak, are you a perfectionist by any chance? Jump on that Keyword2 and if you won't then give it to me.

(Obviously there's some caveats there - you want the most, profitable, targeted visitors possible - but let's simplify for a moment and say that more visitors = more money, so we want more visitors) If you want more visitors, the relationship between broad and phrase and exact match doesn't matter. All you want is high numbers. All the relationship (ratio) between the numbers tells you is which phrase usage is most common. So if "trout fishing" (phrase-matched) accounts for more searches than "fishing trout", the potential upside of using that word order is greater. If broad, phrase and exact match traffic are closer together, it just means by optimizing for one variation you get a greater percentage of the others. But the percentage of visitors is less important than the number of visitors. Quote:
But to answer your question - yes - Market Samurai will include more traffic types though, with Phrase-Match and Exact Match traffic coming relatively soon. Brent |

![]() @BrentH Thanks. That's what I was thinking of as well... Traffic is the most important. But last question on this one ) The example before was pure theoretical. Let's move to real numbers: Keyword1: SEOT for Broad: 567, Phrase: 139, Exact: 10 Keyword2: SEOT for Broad: 169, Phrase: 139, Exact: 113 What do you, guys, think of this pair? First one has more traffic for Broad match, but second has much more trafic for Exact searches. Yes, we consider traffic the most and Keyword1 then looks better, right? But first place on Broad match is harder to achieve, then Exact match, which is greater for Keyword2 Any ideas? Last edited by Techfreak; 11-09-2008 at 02:32 PM. |

Hello!
I am just at the beginning and I am searching my answers on this forum. I am reading the TDC in PDF format and this forum and now I am little confuse. Can anyone please tell me which searches I must look: the broad matched or phrase matched searches. Now I don't have any idea but when I was testing words I put italy trips and google found 501.000 hits (broad matched searches) but when I put this word in quotes it hits just 13,800. First it looked a good word but when I did the SEO analyse there were too competitive pages. And when I am searching the phrase words in Noble Samurai it always block me when I put three words in it. I shouldn't do that, must I put only one or two phrase word? What is with the searches per day? If I am right I can find them in Keyword search at Noble Samurai because in forum some are talking about first and second page at Google. I don't know what they mean with that. Well I will be very thankful for any answer. Good night! Vesna |
