Superb Paul! Absolutely spot on. I've made it the subject of my video diary today. 3 posts in and you come out with gold like that. I'm in awe.

Cheers,
Nez

Thumbs up Wiser than a big wise thing

Well said Paul! (although I hope it doesn't go to Ed's head! )

I do have to admit that I am one of the ones who would like more and faster - only because I'm eager to get on with getting on.

The thing is, I am actually infinitely more grateful for the opportunity to effectively have a look over Ed's shoulder and get a bit of an insight into his ways and means.

It's not that often that we get the opportunity to have an accomplished mentor, coach and cheerleader (picture that one at your own risk ) all rolled into one, for a whole month and I for one am happy to soak it all up. Dross and all!

BTW I loved the phone ringing comment. Not only did I have a good chuckle about it, it also showed how Ed is genuinely concerned to make this as inclusive an experience as he possibly can.

I say "KEEP IT COMING THICK AND FAST ED"

Oh! and thanks for being you! Never change, always stay the same!

Donal

Very well said Paul.

It's funny but i made a very similar Karate Kid reference the other day when commenting in the blog:

Ed's casual teaching style and his likable personality are the very things that make learning all this stuff so fun. I wish some of my teachers in school would have employed some of his teaching methods. As successful as he must be due to his wealth of knowledge in such a lucrative field, he is a totally down to earth and genuine guy who never talks down to his students in any way shape or form. I think I speak for 99% of us when I say I wouldn't want him to change his teaching style a bit. Thanks Ed.

Dearly Beloved:

It is always a good idea to let people be who they are so you can get the best of their real self.

Any artificial modifications by way of suggestion or remark and comments that will make them change their real self may just truncate the learning process.

It makes me happy that Ed already took a stand and knows what to do all by himself. Be yourself Ed and please remain so.

My support goes with the fact that, Ed should be allowed to go as he has been going and everyone who already knows what to do and how someone else should be should keep it internal within themselves until this event is over.

That way, the best of each participant in this great event can come out.

Let Go and Let Ed.

Kudos to you all managing the ThirtyDayChallenge.Com site.

Lots of respect and appreciation!

Regards,
Olakunle Solomon Fatoye.

I can't say that I'm surprised at the depth of wisdom in this fantastic community. I personally find Ed's banter very refreshing and a far cry from the usual BS of some internet marketing so-called gurus.

Relax, enjoy the journey and have FUN with the experience!

Excellent post Paul, gold star for you

When you are learning anything, the teacher is as important as what they are teaching.

I too have studied the Martial Arts, for 19 years now, (Tae Kwon Do) and I think Paul will agree with me, that the three biggest obstacles to becoming an expert, (in anything, maybe? ) are
1) ignoring the basics,
2) impatience and
3) not listening to the expert that is teaching you.

mindykoch has also hit on a point, other Internet Marketers would charge for what we have already received from ED ...

.... maybe they would prefer the edited 30DC version, with the facts and nothing but the facts, in a lovely box of 24 DVDs ... all for just $4,997 (plus shipping & handling)

Yes, it can be that simple, Wax on, Wax Off .... bring it on Ed!

ed does sell other courses not as big as this but great im sure for $2000+ his semnars can cost mucho dinero.

So you are getting Ed for nothing for a month, where he answers questions, etc, directly, no BS no pretending and bucket full of enthusiasm

Plus you get dan raine and all the others, gratis too, my god they must be mad...

Thumbs up

Unfortunately some people are born complainers. They complain about everything and anything. They seem to get some perverse pleasure from it.

Let them complain and then let them go and let the rest of us get on with the job in hand in relative peace.

If people can complain about something as great as this that is being offered for FREE - what is the world coming to!!!!! Sadly freebees don't always get the respect they deserve.

My grateful thanks go to Ed and Dan for EVERYTHING they are offering in this 30 day challenge.

Default The Tao of ED!

You know, some people have it and some people don't. Ed has IT! Don't change A THING ED! I will still continue to "Let go and let God" but I will listen to what you have to say Ed because there are nuances of conversation that you just can't rush through. If any one has ever seen the movie "Blast from the past" The father is trying to explain baseball and the rule of forcing the runner (among other things) to a son who has never experienced it, and the son (who can't visualize it) is asking questions that the father is hard pressed to answer, finally the father says "Because he must"!
Trying to explain why Ed's technique and conversational approach to coaching is so important to those who just DON'T get it is akin to that movie scene and we just need to fall back on the fathers anecdotal "Because you must"!
