Default TAO of Ed

Cudo's Paul,

I myself am a newbie and don't really understand the whiners and naysayers.
In my humble opinion us newbies are simply trying to learn to make $10 dollars and repeat it again and again.

As far as I can tell Ed has made millions and that is a lot more than me, so I know who I will follow . The person/persons who have been there and done that.

Thank you to Ed, Dan and all involved in making this education available and for not one damn dime. I appreciate it.

Velma

Default Great Course, Great Post

Awesome post. I am a first timer and have been telling all my friends and family how AWESOME this training is and we're just in the first week!

I am looking to increase traffic to my site so I could have looked at this first section as "I don't need the market research tools" but instead am finding it priceless.

I LOVE the humor that is thrown into this course. A smile,chuckle or light-heartedness does more to motivate me than some drone muttering on for an hour that takes themselves too seriously and their words to be law.

I am so grateful that Ed and Dan are taking their time and energy to do this. I thought myself very internet savy before this and BOY was I wrong. Thanks for all the great tools, the time spent, the videos, the podcasts, the youtube competition, the teams, the toolbar, the blog and for all the obvious hard work that went into this program!

There will always be complainers. I hope Ed and Dan don't take these people too seriously and know that the other 99% of the people taking this course find what they are doing unbelievable and are grateful for it.

Thanks!!!! Jenny

"Let Go, Let Ed"...I love it!

This is my third year of listening to Ed deliver his brilliantly unique brand of internet marketing advice, in his lovely Aussie accent and those mesmerizing blue eyes.......

Er, where was I? ;-)

Oh, right. Just have to say that I am spoilt for life by his style of delivery and teaching, and trying to listen to other "regular" type podcasts has become, well...difficult!

Not only have I learned from what Ed has to say, but from his example also: his podcasts and videos are informative, funny and real, and as a "recovering perfectionist" ;-), every time I listen to or watch Ed, I realize that just being yourself in whatever you do is sooo much more important than getting things "just right".

Thanks, Ed...you're a true gem. :-)

Barb

ps: your new sidekick, Dan, has his moments, too. He looks better in a pink thong than Frank Kern ever did in a flowery dress ;-)

Thumbs up The Tao of Podcast...

Nice job Paul...

I like the personal tone of the podcasts.

They're fun.

Point 1: Even though I'm not a podcast guy - per se. This process has shown me that podcasting is a necessary mechanism to be effective in today's multi media world. I would not have learned this otherwise, because I never listen to podcasts.

Point 2: It has given me all kinds of ideas about audio - stuff that I can do right away, for very little - or no - money. Content I can create and training I can develop.

Fact is, I'm buzzed about this.

Thanks Ed.

Point 3: I've always felt that if you don't like a radio station, a song, a tv show - don't listen or change the channel. Summaries are cool but write your own if that floats your boat.

Ed's a pretty busy guy and to me this is a labor of love on his part. Frankly, I'm honored that he has taken the time and made the effort to help so many people.

This is a big deal and could very possibly change a bunch of people's lives. I see a selfless and loving leader in this - which I admire and sincerely appreciate.

Regarding Tao Te Ching:

Here is #1 Titled: The Way

Compare the content with the whole concept of TDC, Ed and Paul's comments:

The Way that can be experienced is not true;
The world that can be constructed is not true.
The Way manifests all that happens and may happen;
The world represents all that exists and may exist.

To experience without intention is to sense the world;
To experience with intention is to anticipate the world.
These two experiences are indistinguishable;
Their construction differs but their effect is the same.

Beyond the gate of experience flows the Way,
Which is ever greater and more subtle than the world.

Okay...

enough of the heavy philosophy chatter already...

But I have to point out one more thing.

One of my favorite quotes from that book has always been from #56...

From the translation I googled it reads thus:

Who understands does not preach;
Who preaches does not understand.

From my preferred translation, by Witter Bynner, reads thus:

Those who speak, know not;
Those who know, speak not.

That's my piece of Tao for the day.

To Ed: Good on ya Mite.
To Paul: Ditto.

very well said!!!

I would have taken the High Noon approach. If you don't like it, get the hell out of Dodge.

Personally I feel Ed can deliver content any way he pleases, and I'll listen because he's

1. a great guy and extremely generous

2. he's made millions doing this

So carry on Ed and when you have a detractor just do what another rich, famous, and successful internet guru advised: "delete, delete, delete"

Your Fan,
Jan

Ed is Ed and he can't be Anthony even if he would like to be...he'll just remain Ed.

He is an amazing, cool, smart and confident guy who exactly knows - feels what he's doing and what he wants to achieve with his free teaching and he is really enjoying in teaching.

Old Roman saying goes "De gustibus et coloribus non disputandum est." - Tastes are different...
so I think we should take some other opinions very easy - like a democratic discussion - exchange of different views, minds etc...

Every one can say what she/he wants until that isn't an offence...or is out of basic code of etiquette...that makes the life more vivid more interesting.

And I think that we should not pay too much attention to this matter, because it's really a marginal one...

and of course, our boss Ed is capable of dealing with that in a blink of an eye in the best possible way,
ervin

Come on guys don't be so harsh. Everybody deserves a second chance, don't they? A lot of times you realize that the journey itself is more important after you went through the journey.

For you guys who don't like Ed's so called "idle talk" (I like Ed's playful teachings, by the way) there is a setting, let me see, if you go to the windows menu on quicktime player, show a/v controls you are able to let Ed talk faster. That should safe you guys some time, right.

Otherwise, I have my deepest appreciation for Ed's work with us.

See you,
Nie
