My site is Banned from Google, I think

Hello, well after doing the 30DC and then subscribing to the immediate edge we have been seeing some phenomenal results. We were on the first page in position #8 with 124,000 competing pages for our keyword.

We wanted the top 3 so we started some aggressive link building using the Brute Force SEO program you recommended. We were using original articles and submitting them 3 times a week using Brute Force. After 3 weeks of this our site is gone. POOF. Disappeared from page 1 and not to found on any page on Google.

We were kicking some serious booty making some good coin and now am really wondering what we did wrong. any help would be appreciated.

I am thinking it was the brute force program due to the timing.

PS - thanks Ed and Dan for all of your help so far- we are raking in some good money these days with about 35 wordpress direct sites and promoting about 15 products and bringing in about 20k a month after starting the 30DC in August of 2008.

For those that have contacted me about our success I wanted to leave some notes here.

First, we are promoting CPA products from a lesser known CPA network. I like these lesser known networks because there seems to be less competition.

Second. We are doing allot of PPC to dive traffic(about 5k a month)

Third - Misspellings have been huge for us. This is my little secret for those of you who found this thread. We are bidding on missplelled (sp? for effect) words and also creating blogs from the data we receive from PPC on those misspelled words.

Our blogs while, each one may only get 400 visitors a month, we have 25 of them. so do the math 400 times 25 = 10,000 visitors. Our blogs are almost all ranking #1 on Google.

Also- we have a bunch of other blogs that we started and then stopped promoting( I would say about 15). Most of them are all ranking on page 1 on google or yahoo. So we are now adding Adsense to those and doing a little more promotion.

Our web 2.0 sites are doing very well- these get a Sh+tload of traffic. Im not saying what we are doing is glamorous or very "not spammy", but we are generating traffic by finding common misspellings of products and then apply the 30DC majic.

So- to be short and sweet - This Sh!t works. Be smarter than the next guy.

A few other notes- I found articel writers on get a freelancer dot com. wE had cycled through about 20 of them before we found one that is cranking out awesome articles for $2 for 500 words. CRAZY!!! So, we just post and promote, post and promote and

Oh wait, one other thing. We are creating our own affiliate network. WE have singed exclusive deals with products out ther ethat have no idea how to promote online. We build the site, the cart etc. and then allow affiliate marketers to promote. And we are getting a price of their sale.

I still am working my 9-5. But have 2 full time people on my team and this is all they do. Planning to have my act together to be a full fledged internet marketing company by the end of 2009. I need the health insurance mostly for my kids and wife.

Looking for an update and oh yea, hopefully this'll be an example of what I'll be posting come Feb '10

I will admit that 30DC08 was a failure for me as it never got off the ground, even so, I always saw the 30DC as much more than a way to make $1, heck, just doing the first lesson on MS was enough to say "wow, this can really be something!" but seeing real stories like this and getting in at the beginning of '09 will help to keep motivated and become the next 30DC success!

Are you sure you have been banned and not just sand boxed? You can check by googling your URL and seeing if any results come back.
